Matthew 11:28-30 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Matthew 11:28-30 ... Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of (from) me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

From the time we are born on this earth we have the nature of man in our flesh.  It is natural to hate.  It is natural to compete to win out over other.  These things set the flesh on fire.

Then God reveals Himself and we are born again.  Created as a new creature, opposite from the flesh although the flesh still tries to reign.  But now, since we are born of God we have the Spirit of God so we no longer have to serve our flesh as we once did.  So when the flesh rises up to try to get us to take action we can call on God for help.

We can go directly to God in prayer.  We can "learn from HIM".

And we find the way of God is opposite from the leading of our flesh.  Our flesh wants to achieve.  Our flesh wants to win out over others.  This is an hard yoke.

Jesus is saying to learn from HIM for HE is meek and lowly in heart.

Jesus wanted to please God, the Father.  And this took Jesus to death of HIS flesh and caused HIM to be despised of men.  But Jesus knew all that matter was the approval of God.  If God approved Him nothing else matter.

When we try to please men we take on an hard yoke.
