God says:

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:

We have a woman in our neighborhood who is most likely a lesbian.  She is also a Catholic.

God has warned Pam Padgett about this woman through dreams.

I really care about this woman and have shared Bible with her but I would not put myself in her path unless I heard coming from her a confirmation of her acceptance of the following scripture.

Romans 1:26-28  

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

(I did share this scripture with her but received no response from her.)

2 John 1

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

(I am careful to do this scripture.  I do not wish another person well when I know that person is going the opposite way to God.  Only do I wish a person well when that person demonstrates to me that he is going in the doctrine of Christ following the word of God as he lives on this earth.)

2 Corinthians 6

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

I do purpose to let the scripture be my guide in what I do on this earth.  And I pray asking God what HE wants me to do as the occasion arises.  I am HIS servant and this makes a difference.
