What materials are we building upon?

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Jesus said ... Mt. 7 ... whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

I Cor. 3 ... According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ
(The Word). 12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.  14If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

As I live upon this earth, what materials am I building upon?

I thought of that which is my foundation, upon what I have built my house.

I thought of the specific scriptures upon which I have built.  These scriptures basically rule my life.

When I was born again, in 1975, two scriptures were very strong in leading me in the way to go.

Jn. 5:30 ... Jesus says ... I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

I Cor. 2 ... Paul says ... And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

I used these two scriptures as my pattern ... not devising clever stories but just speaking that brought to me by the Spirit of God.  I didn't plan what I was going to say.  I learned to depend on God and to trust HIM to give me what to say or write.

And there are certain scriptures right now that I live by. (Phil. 2:5-7 ... I Tim. 6:8... Rom. 8:28-29)  These are scriptures brought to my attention by the Holy Spirit.  I'm building my house on these scriptures.

What are the scriptures right now upon which you are building and living? What scriptures are burned into your heart by the Holy Spirit.  These are your building materials.
