Increasing strength

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Prov. 24:5 ... A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

A wise man, a man of knowledge increases strength.

We build our faith in God as we think about those things God has done in the Bible and in our lives.

Please read:  Miracle from God

We renew our minds to HIS way by paying attention to Holy Spirit and by reading Bible.

Romans 12 ... I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

This past week, I saw a TV show about the men who build America.  After I watched this, the Holy Spirit reminded me of many things of God which are directly opposite from the way these men operated.

I was reminded of the following:

Jesus said ... as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. Lk. 6

The men who build America in this TV show lived exactly opposite to the above direction. They were ruthless competitors.  They sat and thought of things they could do to get ahead of rivals.  They wanted to destroy their rivals. They paid as little as possible to their employees, showing no sign of caring for the well being of the workers.  This is the way of this world.

I was also reminded of the fact that men on this earth desire to accumulate more wealth, more possessions.  And often just before they die, they worry about their earthly possessions ... who will care for their possessions when they are gone.

Though they are thought by the world to be wise because they became very rich, their riches trouble them greatly.  We are taught to go in a completely opposite way, not trying to accumulate riches, not trying to be great among those around us.

Phil. 2 ... Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

I Tim. 6 ... But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.  11But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

And after they die and we die, what then?  What is their "reward" for all eternity.  There is no way to change anything after death.  All there is then is judgment of God whether we do good or bad.

I was once asked to pray for a man who had died.  I didn't do this.  It is over.  Now all that is there is the judgment.  I believe this man was of God.  But it is over ... no more changes for either good or evil.

Heb. 9:27 ... And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

While we live on this earth, we strengthen ourselves in faith in God and in the ways of God by thinking about that which HE has done and by reading Bible.
