Proverbs 29:25 ... The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Hebrews 13 ... Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Putting our trust in God is sometimes turning to God and saying (and meaning), "I choose to trust YOU ... please help me."
God is a Spirit ... How can a spirit help us?
HE helps us by giving us a word from God on the issue at hand ... And that Word God gives is so powerful even the gates of hell cannot stand against it.
(Providing daily encouragement for the body of Christ by the Spirit of God to help the church in the end times.)

My greatest joys
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
My greatest joy is when God gives me a word by HIS Spirit.
My second greatest joy is when God allows me to see HIS working on my behalf.
I have a remarkable story which happened Monday of this current week.
A man from Chicago was doing some video work for me. He spent the night at my home before going to his other Texas client the next day in Houston.
When he came down from his room the morning he was leaving for Houston, he said to me: "I awoke this morning with an idea of how to help your sound on satellite and I want to go into the theater room immediately and try something." I was fixing breakfast and told him to go ahead while I finished preparing the food.
This man seems dead as a doornail ... I don't believe he is Christian. And I had no leading at all to share anything of God with him.
He did what he awoke thinking of which involved changing cables from HDMI to coaxil from satellite to my sound processor. I was amazed at how much this helped the sound on satellite. I was thrilled! (This man isn't even a sound man. He is strictly video. But Monday as he was working with video I told him I didn't like the sound I was getting on satellite.)
He kept saying that he just awoke thinking of this issue and how the sound could be helped by changing the interconnects!
I marveled at how much it helped and how it was an answer to a sound problem.
I knew it was God giving this man this idea!
God knows how much I enjoy sound and what it means to me.
I have an understanding that even if we benefit only five minutes over something secular, God is delighted.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 121:1 ... I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD (THE WORD), which made heaven and earth. 3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5The LORD (THE WORD) is thy keeper: the LORD (THE WORD) is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7The LORD (THE WORD) shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8The LORD (THE WORD) shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
When I think of "The LORD", I do not often think of a physical body shaped like a human being except in the sections about the crucifixion ... Jesus was made as flesh temporary so HE could suffer all things as we humans suffer, yet without sin.
But the power of God as described in scripture such as the above scripture, for me is THE WORD ... Jesus is THE WORD ...
I can't think in terms of power in connection with a physical body. But THE WORD is always power to me.
So when I think of "THE LORD" or "JESUS", I automatically think of "THE WORD".

Meditation example
Meditation: Joan Boney
II Thess. 1:12 ... That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The "name" of our Lord Jesus Christ is "THE WORD".
That THE WORD may be glorified in you.
Each time I hear THE WORD and do THE WORD the name of Jesus is glorified in me.
I thought of how the following was brought to my attention a couple of years ago: Phil. 2 ... Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, ... and I set about to make myself "of no reputation", cutting out anything which would cause anyone to glory in me. I followed this instruction daily for about 7 months. At the end of those 7 months, God gave me the dream which showed me to go on internet (THE WORD TO ME), so I went on Internet to do the writings you now read, again glorifying HIM, just following the instructions HE gave me.
Each time we do THE WORD we hear by the Spirit of God, we glorify God.
Several years ago, I went to Albuquerque, NM (USA) on a buying trip for my store. At that time I owned an American Indian arts shop in Dallas. As the plane began to land, I heard, "be baptized".
I had been baptized when I was 15 years old but I was not born again at that time. I just went forward to be baptized because I didn't want to go to hell and in my childish way I thought how you kept from going to hell was to be baptized.
When I was 37 years old, I was born again.
The plane landed and my cousin, Jeanne, met me. She is member of Church of Christ. They love water baptism. So I told her if she could set it up I would be baptized that afternoon before leaving for Dallas.
Jeanne was confused because I had already been baptized. But I explained I was not born again at that time and now I am born again. I went on to talk of many things of God. Jeanne listened and then said, "I believe you are a Christian ... I just don't know how you can be one."
The reason I could now be a Christian is simple: GOD! God intervened in my life. God is always the answer.
So as we do THE WORD we glorify God. I had heard on the plane, "Be baptized." To me that meant "Now, do it."
So that afternoon we gathered at the Church of Christ building in Albuquerque.
About 30 relatives came to witness this.
I was shocked when the minister asked me if I would like to say anything. (Church of Christ do not allow women to speak in the church.) But I responded that I guess I would like to say something and I just began speaking by the Holy Spirit. My uncle began crying as I spoke. One of my cousins was shaking her head up and down.
When the minister lowered me into the water, the Holy Spirit spoke this to me: "This is like being buried with Christ.": As I came out of the water, the Holy Spirit said, "This is like being raised with Christ." (At that time I didn't know Romans 6 which explains this.)
After I dressed and went where everyone was, my uncle came to me and said: "I've never heard anything before like you said in there. Can you write that down for me?" I replied, I guess I could. I did write it and sent it to him. (I suspect my uncle was born again at that time.)
I have no doubt all this is an example of THE WORD being glorified.
So if we want to glorify God and serve God, we simply do THE WORD when the Holy Spirit speaks it to us or puts it into our heart.

Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
The wisdom and understanding God gives us is more valuable than money or other riches.
God knows all things ... what is in the heart of each person, what the future holds, exactly what we need ... and is able to give us His wisdom in whatever we're dealing with.
Having riches of this world does not help us know how to handle a situation. But wisdom from God gives us what we need to deal with each matter according to His will and purpose.
Was reminded of times God has given me wisdom when dealing with various situations.
In one matter recently, I was dealing with hail damage to my roof and asked God for wisdom about how to handle my insurance company (not paying for extent of roof damage) and the roofer (argumentative with insurance company). I was led to ask the roofer to submit an estimate for replacing the roof, and for me to send notice to the insurance company telling them I was doing this. To my surprise, Pete didn't want to prepare the estimate and told me to find another roofer, removing himself from the matter. Another roofer prepared the estimate according to the insurance company procedures, and the insurance company agreed to replace the roof. I marvel and thank God each time I think of how the wisdom God gave me in this situation so easily and effectively resolved both problems and allowed me to move forward in the matter in peace.
No amount of riches could help me know what to do in these situations. But God gives wisdom ... far more valuable than any riches.

Meditation example:
Meditation: Joan Boney
Psa. 22:31 ... They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
I was born again August 5, 1975 ... shortly after this, I was taken into heaven in the night as I slept. I knew I was with God, with Holy Spirit, with Jesus. (saw no images) At that time I was "merged into the body of Jesus" ... made one with the Word of God.
I had no idea what this meant. At the time this happened I thought it happened to all Christians. I was on fire. I no longer cared about anything other than THE WORD of God. I owned a business at that time. I had 3 very competent women who worked for me. I didn't even have to go into the shop. All I had to do was the buying for the shop. I just stayed home and read the Bible and went to various church services. That is all I cared about.
A few nights after the first experiences of being taken into heaven, the same thing happened again exactly as the first happening. It was in the night as I slept. I was taken into heaven. I knew I was with God, with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit although I saw no images. I was again "merged into the body of Jesus", made one with THE WORD of God.
I continued studying Bible for the next 4 years and finally was persuaded to close my business to go into ministry "full time". I had no salary. I lived off the money made from the merchandise of the business until God established other money for me, about a year later.
I did not go to work for any church group. I didn't have a salary from a church group. I set up a "ministry" with the Federal Government of USA although at that time I was just staying home and reading Bible.
Six month after closing my business, I was asleep in the night and a very loud voice spoke 3 words to me: "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS" ... KWJS was obviously call letters to either radio station or TV. It turned out to be radio. Within a week of hearing this, I was broadcasting on radio, 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. I added several stations after that one stations and was on radio from coast to coast within about a year. I traveled to the cities where I was on radio and had meetings. Money to pay for radio broadcasts was given through offerings from radio audience. At that time, I took small salary of $400 per month and ministry paid rent for my apartment in Dallas, $190 per month. Everything else went into paying for the radio broadcasts. I did this for a few years.
From that time to this, God has shown me exactly what to do when HE wanted something done. In March, 2012, I had a dream and was shown to go on Internet and do these writings. Within 3 days of the dream, the blog was set up and we were publishing the writings you see now.
God has seen that I have all that I need during all these 30+ years. God has abundantly provided for me. I have no want. I have no debt.
This week I received my monthly VISA credit card bill. There was plenty to pay both my personal bill and the ministry bill. (I stopped taking salary from ministry a few years ago although scripturally I have right to take salary from ministry if I choose to do so. I Cor. 9:13 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. )
I receive $764 per month social security from US government. That is plenty to pay for food, secular books, music CD's. I don't need clothing. I don't go anywhere except grocery store. I have 2 sets of slacks for that. I have a 20 year old car which runs well. I have good mechanic. I don't go anywhere but grocery so don't need much in car.
When I got VISA bill, I paid $400 for personal expenses and still had $300 left over. This is typical. I rejoiced greatly. I had plenty to pay my bill. The ministry had plenty to pay utilities and such on property which is owned by ministry. There was plenty! I really rejoiced.
Not only have all needs been taken care of for all these years but I've been allowed to have very good sound system which I use daily and greatly enjoy.
It is all amazing to me. God withholds "no good thing" from me. I have so much, yet so little. (Little when I don't need it like in clothes.)
The house I live in is very nice. The contractor provided for this project was very good and even 10 years after the building of the house I can call and he will send someone over immediately to take care of problems that arise.
I was provided an excellent "sound guy" to advise me about sound equipment. After the first two items, David began selling me other items at cost. Amazing. I permits me to move into sound that I never dreamed of.
All these things are done for me by God. I am surrounded by abundance.
Eph. 3... Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Helped according to the will and purpose of God
Pam Padgett ... teacher
After eating the passover meal with the apostles, Jesus went to the mount of Olives. Jesus knew what lie ahead for Him and prayed, asking the Father to remove this from Him. But Jesus also prayed that the will of the Father would be done ...
Luke 22:39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. 40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
It was the will of the Father for Jesus to die for us. Although this was not removed from Jesus, He was given help. An angel from heaven came and strengthened Jesus ...
Luke 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
After Jesus rose from the dead He taught His disciples and gave them understanding, that His suffering, death, and rising from the dead fulfilled what God had spoken before by the prophets ....
Luke 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
The shame, suffering and death Jesus faced was not removed from Him, but He was strengthened by an angel sent from heaven. And Jesus fulfilled the will and purpose of God foretold by the prophets.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 68:19 ... Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Daily as we think on those words given us by God by HIS Spirit we are loaded with benefits. Also as we think of the many physical things God has arranged for us we think on HIS benefits. Yesterday I was overwhelmed at one point in the physical benefits and I was thanking God for providing so abundantly for me in so many ways to help me endure this earth.
And God saves us by that word He gives us by His Spirit.
Save means:
- to keep from harm and danger
- to rescue from harm and danger
- to prevent from going into harm and danger
- to preserve ... not to be used up needlessly
- to avoid, lessen, guard against
- to prevent opponent from scoring against us
- keep us from pointless effort
All these things are done by that word given us by God as we walk on this earth.
When we think on that word and make appropriate actions in our lives we enter into a rest provided by God.
When some people think of Jesus, they think of some human shape. When I think of Jesus I usually think of THE WORD.
Jesus lived in the flesh for a short time to fulfill the Word of God and to make a way to God for us by shedding His blood. But Jesus was before the creation of the earth ... Gen. 1:1 In the beginning was the Word,
... v. 14 ...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us
THE WORD does everything and is great power and is life.
There is no end to THE WORD ... The word of the Lord endures forever ... I Peter 1
We are refreshed as we things of the various words given us by God by HIS Spirit that dwells in us.

II Thess. 1:10 ... When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
When I was first born again and God began speaking to me by HIS Spirit, I was so amazed at the wisdom in that WORD. I admired so much God and things of God. I spoke of HIM everywhere I went.
Today it is the same. I admire HIM.
II Thess. 1:12 ... That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The name of our Lord Jesus Christ is THE WORD ...
The time will come when we are given a new name ... and HE will have a new name.
Isaiah 62 ... For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. 2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. 3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
I had a dream about this a few years ago. I was in a room with several people and someone called out a name and then I was told that was my "new name". I was given clothes to dress in. And I was told the man I was to marry was there waiting in this very large stadium filled with people. I wondered how I could find him in such a large group of people.
Rev. 2:17 ... To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Rev. 3:12 ... Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Meditation: Pam Padgett
James 1:5 If any of you lack
wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and
upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
It is God we turn to in prayer asking for wisdom, and it is God who gives us wisdom
It is God we turn to in prayer asking for wisdom, and it is God who gives us wisdom
My thoughts and ideas may seem
right to me at the time, but may not be right. God gives wisdom which
will not fail.
James 1:6 But let him ask
in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea
driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall
receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his
ways.
waver: unsteady, undecided
between two opinions or courses of action, irresolute
Ask in faith without wavering,
believing God hears my prayer, will give me wisdom in the matter, and can
"get through" to me
When I have doubted that God would
give me wisdom in a matter, or not waited to hear from God, its like being
tossed back and forth, having no real foundation to stand on.
unstable: prone to change,
fail, give way, easily upset or disturbed, not stable (firmly
established/fixed, sane, sensible)
But when I have put my trust in God
to give me wisdom and waited for Him, I have been able to move forward on solid
ground ... God's wisdom

John 17:15-17 ... I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of
the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are
not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them
through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
It is the WORD which nourishes us and keeps us and preserves us. God sends HIS word to those who belong to HIM. The word is sent to us by the Spirit of God.
God knows what each one of us need today.
As we meditate daily on the word called to our mind or by the word that "jumps out at us" as we read the Bible, we fill that hole where the need is in our lives.
Our needs are different. Each of us might meditate on the same scripture and yet have different needs met in our lives.
Meditation is very powerful when it is done correctly for we are focusing on the exact part of the scripture that fills our specific need at that moment.
Also we eat the flesh of Jesus and drink HIS blood as we meditate on the scripture given us by the Spirit of God.

As Jesus knew He would soon be betrayed, He spoke with his disciples and reminded them of an instruction He had given them previously. As they obeyed that instruction, they had no lack ...
Luke 22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
But Jesus knew what lie ahead and gave instruction to them based on what they would need for what was about to happen ...
Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. 37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. 38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
Even as Jesus was facing betrayal and death, HE gave instructions to His disciples, preparing them for what they were about to face. Each time the disciples obeyed the instructions Jesus gave, they had what they needed. There was enough, with no lack.
God knows what lies ahead for our lives and prepares us as needed, taught and led by the Holy Spirit.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
God gives us a sound mind.
When we find we are thinking in a crazy way, look for devils.
When Jesus cast the devils out of the man who had many devils, HE cast them into a herd of pigs. At that moment, the pigs went crazy and ran off the cliff and were destroyed.
Mk. 5 ... Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. 12And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. 13And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
Satan comes to steal, to kill, to destroy ... That is what devils do.
Jn. 10:10 ... The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (the WORD) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
When your house is empty (not filled with the Word of God), devils can move in.
Mt. 12 ... When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
So keep your house full by meditating daily on the word that is given you by the Spirit of God and by doing according to HIS instruction, and eventually when your house is full enough those devils will move out.
Another point ... If you are in strife or envy, expect confusion to be in your life.
James 3 ... But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Eph. 2 ... And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
We walked in the way of the world and were dead in sins. Then God revealed HIMSELF to us through THE WORD and made us alive.
Before this, we were dead in sins though we may not have known that.
Then we are buried with Christ through baptism ... and when we come out of the water, we identify with being raised with Christ.
Our sins are "nailed to the cross" with Christ.
And at that point the old man is dead and the new creature appears through the Holy Spirit in us.
Eventually the Holy Spirit overcomes and we cast aside those things of this world that we once held dear. And we walk in newness of life, no longer serving sin but serving God.
And now we are connected with God and with Jesus by the Spirit of God in us and it is like a triangle of three and we are in Christ. This further separates us from this present world though we live in this present world.
Eph,. 2 ... That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
11Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Meditation: Pam Padgett
Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
truth -
quality or state of being true
in accordance with fact or reality
faithfulness, constancy
honest
without variation
steadfast
Truth doesn't change.
What man thinks is truth by his own reasonings and intellect sometimes changes as more information is received, circumstances change, or deceptions are uncovered
But truth from God will not change ... The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth
The truth we received from God is true, solid, won't change
God will not leave me or forsake me ...
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
God provides all that I need ...
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
God will help me with whatever I'm facing ...
1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Psalm 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
These things won't change
What man says may not be based in truth. Turn to God. God knows the truth in the matter. Man may try to deceive, but can't deceive God.
By turning to God with what is said, instead of trying to determine of myself if its true, allows me to walk in truth (light) from God, which is sure.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
2 Corinthians 2:14 ... Now thanks be unto God, which always
causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his
knowledge by us in every place.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
It is God who causes us to triumph in Christ, THE WORD.
We don't triumph of ourselves. But when we have victory after victory it can seem we are triumph of ourselves. But we refocus on God and we know WHOM we have believed and we realize all the "greatness" we have is given us by God, by THE WORD, by HIS Spirit, and it is not of ourselves.
Paul explained: II Cor. 3 ... Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? 2Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. 4And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
2 Corinthians 2:11 ... Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Paul took action before Satan could get advantage because he know the devices of Satan.
Satan uses many devices to pull us off track. It is very helpful to know the tactics of the enemy so we can avoid such.
In my case, I have an assignment from God to do exhortations for the church. I also have the spiritual gift of exhortation to allow me to do this.
Satan uses a plan to pull me off course. If I let myself get involved in "helping" people, I can't hear the message God would speak and helping them drains me and ends up not helping them either for their help must be from God.
We have a woman in our church group who was very needy. She always had to be corrected when I spoke to her. Over and over this happened for 30 + years. I was continually grieved by her words. I finally stopped trying to correct her. Everything we write is printed daily on Internet, let her take that and go to God and correct herself. If she does that, she will be okay. I was freed.
Then came many pastors wanted help and guidance. Again, let them turn to God for guidance. I just stopped reading their many emails.
Then came a young man who seemed to be a pastor but when he spoke to me the doctrine was false. I corrected him at first. He wanted me to judge his writings. I told him I would not do that. Then he turned and railed out against me in an unjust way. He wouldn't turn to God. I told him to take him questions to God instead of bringing them to me. He wouldn't do this. I just cut him off and will not read anything from him and if he called I would not answer phone. I have caller ID so I can see who is calling.
Later I saw this young man is a "railer" ... Paul said to cut off railers when they come to us calling themselves a "brother" and are railers. I Cor. 5 ... I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
I just put this young man away from me ... and that is exactly what Paul told the church to do.
Each of us have areas where Satan is likely to strike. Pam's area at this point in time is money. So to fill up the gap and pull down stronghold which have built up over time she needs to keep those scriptures given her by God on a list and look at this list morning and night and build herself up in the faith constantly. It may take weeks or months but this will work. Of course with each temptation she still turns to God again and HE will likely give her another scripture or bring to her mind an example. Strongholds are like brick walls and usually these have been build over time and they usually have to be pulled down one brick at a time and that usually takes time and effort. So you stay on that subject as long as it is needed. I have stayed on a single verse as long as seven months. Don't rush past that subject. Stay with it.

Meditation example
Meditation: Joan Boney
I Thess. 2:12 ... That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
Walking worthy of God:
Jn. 5:19 ... Jesus said ... The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
Jn. 5:30 ... I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear (from God), I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Jn. 6:38 ... For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Walking "worthy of God" has to do with being constantly recreated in the image of God which means hearing from God by the Holy Spirit second by second ... waiting for God to show you something to do before doing anything ... waiting for God to show you what to speak ... Doing and saying what you hear from God as Jesus did.
We are connected to God in a "triangle" ... God ... Jesus ... Holy Spirit in us
Col. 2:12 ... Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Eph. 2:6 ... And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Though we still live on this earth, the old man is dead, buried in baptism ... we are raised with Christ to walk a newness of life through the Spirit of God WHO now lives in us ... and God has already raised us with Christ though we still live on this earth. Thus we have a connection not with this earth which is dead to us and we are dead to it, but rather we are connected to the heavenly, to God the Father and Jesus Christ.
Thus Paul explained: Gal. 2:20 ... I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Romans 8 ... Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Meditation: Pam Padgett
Psalm 105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
God led the children of Israel out of Egypt to journey to the land HE had promised them. A journey would require physical strength. As God led them out of Egypt, there was not one feeble person among them. There were about 600,000 men plus women and children, yet not one of them was feeble. Each of the children of Israel were able to go on the journey God led them to make.
God gives us the ability to go in the way HE leads us. Whatever we need ... physical strength, wisdom, courage, skill, finances ... when God leads us, we are able to go in that way.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Proverbs 3:5-6 ... Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and
lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge
him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
It all starts with turning to God in prayer. If you try to reason out your problems you are in danger. But when you turn to God in prayer and hear from HIM by HIS Spirit and do what HE says, it's over ... the problem is taken care of even before the action is fulfilled ... This is the only way I know of to overcome. In the book of Revelation each one of the 7 churches were admonished to overcome.
In 2011, my cat had to be put to sleep. That day, I was stricken with horrible grief. That night I called out to God ... "I can't stand this ... please help me."
Instantly I was reminded of the Internet and was led to go on Internet and find a Siamese cat breeder and call that person and see about getting another cat. I did this. And immediately the grief over Samantha was gone forever. Never again did I have a single moment of grief over her! It was a miracle. I called the breeder on Saturday morning and she said she could have a kitten to me by Wednesday. That is the step I took.

Buried with Christ
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Do you believe God raised Jesus from the dead? If so, you are a long way along in faith. This is a fundamental need ... the belief that God raised Jesus from the dead. For if you believe that, you have the grounds to have a faith that God can and will raise you from the dead.
Dead with Christ:
Col. 2:12 ... Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
I was baptized before I was born again and then again after I was born again. The second time I was baptized, when the minister lowered me into the water, the Holy Spirit said to me: "This is like being buried with Christ." When I was raised out of the water, the Holy Spirit said to me: "This is like being raised with Christ."
All of this is so we no longer have to serve our flesh as we once did. Now we are freed to serve God.
Col. 1 ... Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet (able) to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Col. 2 ... And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
I Thess 1:9-10 ... how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; 10And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Waiting is such a peaceful, comforting thought for me. We are just waiting for the return of Jesus. And as we wait we know we are dead with Christ. The circumcision made without hands has cut away the flesh so we can serve the spirit. And as we wait, we serve God as HE sees fit, as HE shows us by the Spirit that dwells in us.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Matthew 6:34 ... Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the
morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the
day is the evil thereof.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
They were worried about food and clothing and Jesus exhorted them saying that God knows what they have need of and HE provides it.
David said ... Psa. 37:24 ... I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
As long as God chooses to leave us on this earth, HE will provide for us just as HE provided for HIS people in the wilderness. There were 600,000 men plus women and children led by God out of Egypt. There was ample provision. None lacked. There was plenty of Manna daily for all. None went hungry. There was water provided out of the rock. Even in the 40 years of walking about in the wilderness, none of their shoes wore out.
Is God insufficient to provide for us daily?
You can't think of tomorrow and deal with the issues today. Take care of today. Jesus says there is enough evil today.

When we believed, we were changed. We no longer served the previous idols. And as we were continually renewed through the years, idols dropped away one by one. Our role is not to serve ourselves. Our role is to be free to serve God.
And as we remain on this present earth we simply wait ....We are not trying to fulfill ourselves as the world does. For we are complete in Jesus. (Col. 1)
And we believe God raised Jesus from the dead and through HIM we who wait will be raised from the dead.
And HE delivers us from the wrath to come.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and
whose hope the Lord is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the
waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see
when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful
in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
God speaks to us today by HIS Spirit. (Heb. 1 ... God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, )
When we focus on that word spoken by God to us by HIS Spirit and follow that Word and trust in that Word and hope in that Word, the Lord is our shepherd. We end up missing lots of the troubles of this present life.
Several years ago, I heard the following: "One step at a time ... One step at a time ... It is enough."

Word of God rising to fight sadness
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
A few days ago, I sent scripture upon which I had been meditating. This ended up helping me the same night.
I had been listening to a recording of a concert of Judy Garland made in about 1963. It was very enjoyable to me. I had heard her do a similar concert when I lived in Dallas in the 60's.
Toward the end of the recording I felt a sadness over a time gone forever... the melodic pure music replaced by popular music today that sounds to me like distortion and noise ... the pretty dresses of that period ... the overall glamor of a past time ... the elegance that no longer seems possible ... a "gone with the wind" period forever gone, forever lost ...
Then the scripture upon which I had meditated that morning surfaced to replace the sadness ...
I Peter 1:For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
Yes, each year seems uglier ... movies, dress, building materials ... these things do change and not for the better ... and the past goes forever lost ...
But there is no change in the Word of God ... The first word was pure ... the recent word is pure ...
And I rejoiced that God prepared me to overcome this sadness even before the sadness came.
That is just one benefit of spending time daily thinking on the Word of God!

Trust in God, not riches of this world
Pam Padgett ... teacher
A rich ruler came to Jesus asking what he needed to do to have eternal life. However, when Jesus told him to sell all that he had, follow Him (Jesus), and that he would have treasure in heaven, the ruler was very sorrowful because he was very rich ...
Luke 18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. 21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. 22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. 24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
The ruler's trust was in his riches, and holding onto them was more important to him than what Jesus told him and treasure in heaven
Jesus told of the rewards to those who follow Him (the Word of God) above all else, believing and trusting in HIM rather than riches of this world ...
Luke 18:28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. 29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
Zacchaeus was also a rich man, and he had status, being chief among the publicans. Yet when Jesus passed through Jericho, it was so important to Zacchaeus to see Jesus that he climbed into a tree ...
Luke 19:1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. 4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
Jesus saw Zacchaeus and told him to come down quickly and that He (Jesus) would stay at his house. Zacchaeus followed what Jesus told him to do, coming down from the tree quickly. He received Jesus with joy.
Luke 19:5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. 6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
And Zacchaeus told Jesus how he would deal with others, even restoring four times to any he had taken from falsely, not holding riches of this world more important than doing what was right before God ...
Luke 19:8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God
which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Obedience to the word given us by the Spirit of God ... and eating and drinking the word of God given daily by the Spirit of God is critical to keeping oil in our lamps and remaining constantly ready for the return of Jesus.
Our steps are ordered by the Lord as we meditate daily in that word given us by God by HIS Spirit. So we go in the right direction and stay on the right path daily as we think on that word given by God and as we make appropriate changes in our lives.
Work out your own salvation ... To me this means I need to guard my assignment given by God. I need to turn to God and structure my life in order to be able to follow HIM. Keeping myself from things and even people who would pull me off course, especially when God shows me to avoid such.
I am a servant of God. So I keep myself ready to serve HIM when I am shown by HIM something.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Psalm 9:7 ... The LORD shall endure for ever.
HE (THE WORD) was there before the heavens and earth.
He (THE WORD) will be there after the heavens and earth are destroyed.
I Peter 1:25 ... But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.

Meditation: Pam Padgett
Psalm 103:2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
redeem: buy back, keep back, free from what distresses or harms
destruction: damage beyond repair, ruin, kill. destroy
God keeps me, and frees me, from things that would damage, ruin, or destroy me ... such as plans I had for my life before being born again, corruption at job, redeems me from lies of the devil by Holy Spirit bringing truth in the matter
And God surrounds me with lovingkindness and tender mercies ....
God has given me the Holy Spirit living in me
Every day, all day, God is with me and cares for me
All my sins are forgiven, paid for by the blood of Jesus
God gives me wisdom ... in decisions I need to make, how to deal with problems, what to do
God has led me, and continues to lead me ... careers, where I live, retirement, even in seemingly small things each day

Building ourselves up in the faith
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
It is so helpful to us to build ourselves up in the faith daily.
As we sit reading Bible and stop and think on various scripture and remember how God worked so many miracles in examples given in Bible which shows us God and remember those things done by God in past for us, we make our faith more real and solid.
This really helps us.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Isaiah 26:3 ... Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
We focus on that word given us by God and we look at that word daily until we are strong enough to do that word ... and we continue in that word, doing it daily month after month ... and as we do this focusing on that which God has given us, we live in peace because we are doing that word instead of living by the way of this world which is twisted, corrupt, fleshly often making sense to fleshly minds but not of the Spirit.
Eph. 6 ... Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
The parts of the armor of God that we dress in are:
- truth (living in truth ... keeping our minds filled with truth)
- righteousness (doing what we believe to be right in the sight of God)
- peace (ceasing from strife and debatings ... praying when we dread something ...committing all fears to God moment by moment... trusting in God)
- faith (focused on God and what HE promises)
- salvation (knowing Jesus paid for our sins with HIS own blood ... living daily in that concept)
- the word of God (dressing in the word of God by meditating upon various things told us by God, by HIS word)
- prayer (praying without ceasing to pray)
We cannot afford to fall asleep and let the devil consume us.

Taken into heaven at the return of Jesus
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
I was born again August 5, 1975.
After that I began hearing people speak of various things of God. One thing very popular at that time was a painting someone did of people being taken into heaven at the return of Jesus. There were cars driving down the street in the painting and drivers being pulled up out of the cars and their human bodies going up into the air to meet Jesus.
This is wrong. Our human bodies will not leave this earth to go into heaven with our soul and spirit. Our human bodies see corruption. Corruption will not inherit incorruption.
Paul explains in I Cor. 15 ...
But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
... And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
At the blink of an eye, we will be changed and taken into heaven. These bodies we now live in are subject to pain, to decay. They will not go with us into heaven.
We will be changed instantly into another form as it suits God ... We will leave these bodies.
But these bodies will not fly out of cars along the highway to meet Jesus in the air when HE returns. This concept is not right.

Helped by God
Pam Padgett ... teacher
In late August a severe hail storm came over the area where I live. Because of a communications mix up, two roofing companies inspected my roof after the storm. Each representative said a new roof was needed. One of the roofers, Pete, owns the company that originally put the roof on my house. When the insurance company sent an adjuster to look at the roof, questions about the current roof shingles came up. Since Pete could best answer these questions, taking his time, I decided to have Pete do the roofing work. However, I began to noticed that each time Pete spoke with someone associated with the insurance company, a verbal confrontation resulted.
Rather than replacing the roof, the insurance company adjuster said the roof needed only some shingles to be replaced. When Pete said the price they paid was unrealistically low, the insurance company told him to submit a supplement request, but Pete didn't want to do this. From what Pete said, it was obvious he wasn't as interested in a small job of replacing shingles as he would be with replacing the entire roof. I told him I would be glad to find another roofer, that he needn't feel obligated to do the job, but he insisted he would do it.
While this was unfolding at my house, several of my neighbors (including the neighbor right next door to my house) have also been dealing with their insurance companies. The insurance company of each neighbor I have talked to has said they needed a new roof. Of course, this made me question why my insurance company wasn't doing the same.
I prayed about what to do regarding the insurance company's decision, as well as praying about how Pete was handling things with the insurance company and him obviously not really wanting to do the job. What was the best way to handle the various problems that were surfacing? Should I try to push the insurance company to replace the roof? I called and talked to someone at the insurance company and was told the roofer could submit a supplement request to cover the cost of replacing the roof, and the insurance company would take that under consideration. When I told this to Pete, however, he said only that he would consider this. Another thing that came forth during the call with the insurance company was their frustration with Pete's unwillingness to follow their processes.
The night after talking with the insurance company, I woke in the night with the thought to send a letter to the insurance company reviewing the situation, including that other insurance companies were replacing roofs in this area because of hail damage, and to let them know I was asking the roofer to submit a supplement to cover the cost of replacing the entire roof. I prayed and believed this counsel was from God. When morning came, I left a message for Pete to submit a supplement for replacing the roof, and also sent the letter via email to the insurance company. I expected Pete to be glad to have the chance of replacing the entire roof. But when he returned my call, he said it would be better for me to find another roofer. I told him this was no problem and that I would reimburse him for time he's spent (which I have done).
Although I was surprised at his reaction, as soon as Pete said this I saw that taking this action had freed me from Pete! I thought this course of action would bring everyone in line with each other ... but it actually removed Pete from the entire situation. Wonderful! I am so thankful to God for guiding me in this way.
The manager of the other roofing company is scheduled to come here next Monday. I told him what my insurance company has said before asking him to come. He said if he agrees with what the sales rep of his company found previously (that the roof needs to be replaced) he would be glad to work with my insurance company.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
John 8:42-47 ... Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father,
ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I
of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even
because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and
the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the
beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.
When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and
the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me
not. 46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why
do ye not believe me? 47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye
therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Recently I met a man who quoted one scripture after another. At first I thought he might be a pastor and I even said this to him.
The problem was this: He began to speak more to me and then he put forth incorrect doctrines and added things to the scripture ... by this I knew this man was a "false teacher" ... The devil was his father just as Jesus said in the above.
This man went away and later on phone he said, "I want to ask you two questions." I stopped him and told him to ask God for it is God who gives us understanding. I know he did not do this for he ended up railing out at me ... I just put him away from me and would read none of his emails and I wouldn't answer his phone call if he tried to call me.
This is what Paul told us to do in the church if a man who is called a brother is a "railer" ...
I Cor. 5 ... But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
I don't counsel such when I see them in the church groups ... I don't pray for them ... I just put them away from me as Paul said to do.
When they come to me and say to me ... "I disagree with you ..." I just put them away. They didn't turn to God and commit their confusion to God with a good, pure heart. They just want to be heard in their disagreement and condemn themselves. And they want to strike out against me personally as the Pharisees struck out at Jesus. I don't have any more to do with such. They rail out and Paul said just put them away. That is what I do.

Meditation: Joan Boney
This morning I began reading in I Thess. starting with verse 1. (I've been daily reading passages in the New Testament)
I Thess. 1 ... Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thought of that strong desire Paul had to communicate with the church. He used parchments to write to the various churches and here he was writing to the church at Thessalonia.
And I thought of how we, today, communicate daily with the church all over the world by these Internet writings and I greatly rejoiced that we can do this.
We are in very terrible times. Sin is rampant all over the world. The violence of humans is predominate as they set about to get what they want without regard for what it will do to others. All their thoughts are of their own selves.
This is a predominate sign of the end ... as in the days of Noah so will be the coming of the Son of Man ... violence reigned in the earth.
We think of blood shed when we think of violence. But God defined violence for me as humans pursuing their own desires not caring what their acts will do to harm another person. We see this in fornication and adultery as men and women depart from their own mate and even their own children in their pursuit of their own personal lusts. We see violence in the many uncaring acts of men and women. Paul said in the last days we would see perilous times for they would be "lovers of their own selves." (II Tim. 3) This is the type of thing we see now.
As we see the approaching day of the Lord, the return of Jesus, we are told to "exhort one another" ... Heb. 3 & Heb. 10 ... I rejoice that these Internet opportunities allow us to do that. And we are told to exhort one another daily ... and even more as we see the day approaching.
It will get so bad before the end that Jesus said even the elect would not be saved "except the day be shorted" ...But the day would be shorted so the elect would be saved. Mt. 24
We often think of physical torture with this. I believe what we will see is a mental torture as sin abounds.
So each of us need these daily exhortations ... and as Paul went to churches at the beginning of the church age, we go at the end with these writings ... and we have a way to go all over the world daily!
So when I read I Thess. 1:1, I really rejoiced.

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
What was it like in the days of Noah?
It is described for us in Genesis 6.
What brought the end?
One specific thing brought the end.
Genesis 6 ... The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
The earth was filled with violence.
God defined "violence" for me as follows: The pursuit of self-gratification without regard for what your action will do to other people.
It is basically not caring for anyone but your self and your desire.
Several months ago, a woman came among us as the church. She seemed to care a great deal about God and justice. Then she revealed she was committing fornication. She had 2 small children.
I think this is the most extreme example of violence. A mother caring about herself and committing fornication without regard for her two small children. And even if she arranged for children to be away from home at the time she was committing fornication, the fornication itself is an act of extreme disconcern against her own children. For she didn't care enough about her children to live a decent, godly life.
I had a business relationship with a man who professed to be a Christian. His wife had left him for a woman. He had 2 teenaged children. He seemed to love them greatly. But he was committing fornication. This is an example of violence.
When you care about your children or the church you abstain from some of your own lusts because you know it would harm other people if you do that.
Violence is pursuit of your own desires without regard for others.
Paul described the end times as "perilous" ... II Tim. 3 ... He said "men would be lovers of their own selves."
We see this all the time. People, without regard for others, block the aisles of grocery store as they talk on their cell phones. People leave their baskets blocking check out areas. They say, "Have a nice day." and you know they have no regard at all for your day. They are hypocrites.
So what does this do? It hardens us and makes us cynical When this is the case, their lack of care affects us.
For reasons such as this, Jesus explained: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Mt. 24:12.
We become hardened because of their iniquity so we end up not caring and we become cold and insensitive. We become like them for this is what they are.
All this is part of the end-time violence.
The only way I know to "endure" is to commit each act to God in prayer, praying that we not become "hardened".
When you fell no pain, you are dead. This is the only way to feel no pain, to be dead. I don't want to become hardened and dead. Turning to God for help when each situation happens is our only help but it is a help that works!

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
John 15:4 ... Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear
fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye
abide in me.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Abide means to live in ... We live in that word given us by God, that word called to our attention by the Holy Spirit ...
For the past two days, I have awakened with a scripture in my mind. I know that is the Holy Spirit reminding me of that scripture. I sit down and focus on that scripture, thinking about what it is saying to me, making proper adjustments according to the instruction of that scripture.
Sometimes I will look at a single scripture for months each day and soak it into me by applying it daily to my live, living in that scripture.
This is what it means when Jesus says "Abide in ME ..."
"And I in you" ... When we live in HIM, HE lives in us. HE is THE WORD ... When we live in THE WORD, THE WORD lives in us.
As we think on that scripture and do it daily, making appropriate adjustments, we allow HIM to live in us.
This is the Lord's supper ... that word of God given us by the Spirit of God ...
We examine ourselves daily by that word that comes to us by the Holy Spirit. We judge ourselves by that word, making adjustments to our lives and continuing in those adjustments. We keep on doing that word as we walk on this earth day by day.
But if we handle that word "unworthily" we may end up weak and sickly and many die.
I Cor. 11 ... Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Meditation examples
Meditation: Joan Boney
I Jn. 2 ... He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
How did Jesus walk?
Jesus said ... I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. Jn. 5:30
Jesus heard from God continually.. Jesus did those things God told Him to do. Jesus spoke those things God told Him to speak.
This is how we are to walk also ... not as "mockers", imitating what others do ... But connected to God by HIS Spirit that lives in us ... doing and saying those things authored by God.
=======================
Meditation: Pam Padgett
Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
God knows what lies in the future and what I will need. God can and will supply what I need.
God will see that I get whatever information I need when I need to have it.
In whatever I face now or in the future, I can turn to God to help me and show me what, if anything, I need to do, and He will help me.
Don't speculate or worry about the future.
Seek to deal as God wants me to with what is before me today.

God comforts those who are cast down
Pam Padgett ... teacher
When Paul came to Macedonia, he faced much trouble, fighting, and fears. But God comforted Paul when he was cast down, by Titus coming to Paul and the report Titus brought about the church in Corinth ...
2 Corinthians 7:5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. 6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; 7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.
The church at Corinth had dealt in godly sorrow, repentance, and doing that which was good and clearing themselves in a matter Paul had brought to their attention ...
2 Corinthians 7:8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. 9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.
This report brought comfort to Paul who cared for the church. Great joy also resulted in seeing that Titus had been refreshed by the church at Corinth ...
2 Corinthians 7:13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. 14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth. 15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. 16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.
While Paul was dealing with many troubles in Macedonia, God comforted Paul, bringing Titus and a good report about the church of Corinth. The godly manner in which the church at Corinth dealt with the problem Paul previously brought to their attention, together with the way they received Titus, their love toward Paul, and their obedience, brought comfort and joy to Paul.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Luke 16:13 ... No servant can serve two masters: for either he will
hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and
despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney... apostle/prophet)
I do not try to get money ... instead I do what the following scriptures tell me ...
Joshua 1:8 ... This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Psalm 1 ... Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
If you meditate in the Word given you by God day and night, you will get strong enough to do that word and you will be walking in the right path when you do that word and you will automatically prosper and have good success.

I am never alone
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
I awake each morning and I know immediately I am not alone. Every morning I am aware of the Holy Spirit being in me as I awake. I am not alone. I am never alone. I know God, THE WORD, the Holy Spirit are there in me and watching over me. I know I will never be alone.
This is the way each real Christian should feel and what we know.
I Jn. 1 ... That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
Notice as John speaks here he refers to THE WORD of life ... He is speaking of the man, Jesus, who appeared in the flesh on this earth for a brief number of years, but John calls Him "The Word" ... and truly that is the name of Jesus ... THE WORD.
When I read Jesus Christ in the New Testament, I automatically translate that to THE WORD.
Jn. 1:14 ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
But THE WORD was there with God before the creation of the heavens and the earth and all things.
When THE WORD was made flesh, HE was given the name "Jesus" ... and for that brief time HE walked on this earth under the name Jesus ... But HIS name is THE WORD.
Some people want a physical image of a man to worship. But I always know Jesus as THE WORD.
And Jesus said this of Himself: Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Jn. 4
When we take the Bible and seek out a scripture and think on that scripture and examine that scripture and structure ourselves by that scripture in an appropriate way, we, like John, "handle THE WORD." And like John, THE WORD is manifested to us as we do this.
We don't see Jesus today in the flesh as a physical human but nevertheless we "see" Jesus in Spirit each time we handle THE WORD OF GOD for Jesus is THE WORD.
Jesus is more real to me as THE WORD than HE is as a human form. I know HIM as THE WORD and I know HIM by THE WORD. HE is THE WORD.
HE lives in me as HIS Spirit ... HE is with me continually living in me constantly. I am never alone and I understand this.
I awake each morning and I know immediately I am not alone. Every morning I am aware of the Holy Spirit being in me as I awake. I am not alone. I am never alone. I know God, THE WORD, the Holy Spirit are there in me and watching over me. I know I will never be alone.

Turning to God without wavering
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Jesus gave a parable showing us to continue in prayer when we have a need or request. In this parable, a woman petitioned a judge. This judge did not fear God and had no regard for others. For a time he would not help the woman. But when she continued coming to him with her request, he avenged her as she asked ...
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
This judge only helped the woman so she wouldn't trouble him any more. God will help HIS own elect, those HE has chosen. God is our help ...
Luke 18:6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Another example of not being discouraged or deterred in seeking help is the blind man who sat begging as Jesus came to Jericho. When the blind man learned that Jesus was passing by, he began to cry out to Jesus, asking Jesus to have mercy on him ...
Luke 18:35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: 36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. 37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. 38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Some rebuked the blind man, telling him to be quiet, but the blind man did not stop and cried even more. He continued to cry out to Jesus to have mercy on him ...
Luke 18:39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Jesus had mercy on the blind man, healing his blindness ...
Luke 18:40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, 41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
By faith we continue in prayer to God with our concerns and requests, believing that God hears us, and will answer us and help us according to HIS will.
