Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and

when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful
in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

God speaks to us today by HIS Spirit. (Heb. 1 ... God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, )
When we focus on that word spoken by God to us by HIS Spirit and follow that Word and trust in that Word and hope in that Word, the Lord is our shepherd. We end up missing lots of the troubles of this present life.
Several years ago, I heard the following: "One step at a time ... One step at a time ... It is enough."
