Our "luck" comes from God

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Our "luck" does not come from eating a black-eyed-pea on New Year's Day as the world often does.

When we belong to God, we do not participate in such things.  There is no power in this.

Our "luck" comes from God who created heaven and earth.  This is power.

As we believe the word of God and act on that word, we see the power of God in our lives and we find we prosper and have good success in all that we do just as the scripture promises.  The power in which we trust created heaven and earth.  That is real power.

Psalm 1 ... Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Joshua 1 ... Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.  8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Heb. 13 ... Let your conversation be without covetousness (without strong desire); and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

II Tim. 3:12 ... all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. ("persecution" is defined as suffering hostility toward themselves for the sake of the word of God spoken and acted upon by themselves.)
