Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Romans 6 ...5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection:
"in the likeness of His death" ...
Jesus obeyed God ... even unto HIS own death ... laying down HIS life by the will of God in obedience to the will of God.
This is what we come to do also... thus "in the likeness of His death" ...
It is not our flesh and feelings and emotions of the flesh that now rule our lives. Our lives are now ruled by that which God wills for us and God shows us that by HIS Spirit who dwells in us.
And if we live in the likeness of His death we will also live in the likeness of His resurrection.
Phil. 2 ... 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
