Does devil take over in you? Only if you let him.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

We overcome in all things by going to God in prayer and by discussing with God that problem and hearing from God.

Is this right, I asked God?

And immediately I was reminded of what Paul said ...

Phil. 4:13 ... "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."

=========

If we are overcome by anything or anyone on this earth it is because we are failing to take the matter to God in prayer by faith in God ...

Gal. 1 ... 3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Both grace and peace come through God and the Word (Jesus Christ)

Grace is the ability to endure ... to be sustained in the hardship ... to overcome through God

Peace has several meanings ... but each meaning (see your dictionary) comes about through turning to God and hearing from God in the issue.

When we have grace and peace coming from God the only reason we are overcome is failure to take the matter to God in prayer by faith in God to help us in the situation.

And when we allow things and people to overcome us, devil moves into our house and speaks and acts through us. (usually first signs are "heaviness" of spirit, depression, failure to enjoy Word of God as you read Bible or blog)

Each of us have to deal continually with such things to overcome through God.  It is not hard to do but it requires diligence in doing it.  Most people just want to tell other people how difficult things are for them.  This is certainly evidence of being overcome rather than overcoming through God.

I Peter 2:20 (NIV) ... How is it to your credit for taking a beating for doing wrong and endure it?
