Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Each word (scripture, concept, dream) given to us by God is completely untainted by what is popular or accepted in the world. It is not based on thinking of man which may be faulty and is subject to change.
The word given to us by God is sure and completely righteous. It will never fail nor change.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ (the Word) the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

During this period of time I had a job where one of my coworkers talked like this. I could tell that her Church was an important part of her life because of the way she talked about it.
So we developed a relationship and talked about God and faith. I was on Joan Boney’s mailing list and Joan shared the pure, unvarnished truth from the Bible, which I was sharing with my coworker, such as if a divorced woman remarries, she commits adultery (Matt 5:32) and how the church is to be set up when it comes together (1Cor 14). This coworker and I were both divorced and had remarried, but, as far as I can remember, I simply shared the things that I had learned when we talked.
Matthew 5:32 But I (Jesus) say unto you, That
whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication,
causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is
divorced committeth adultery.
This went on for a while until I noticed a change in her. The first change I noticed was that she stopped going out to lunch with me. When I would ask her, she was busy and couldn’t go with me. And she stopped asking me. This went on for a while, when one day, at lunch time, I saw her getting ready to go out to lunch with a group of other people.
I realized she was avoiding me and, of course, I knew why. So I got my lunch and went back to my office and thought about this.
Maybe it was just my flesh reacting to what was going on, but I felt so hurt at this rejection. I sat there and tried to eat lunch but I felt so sad over this. So I asked God to please help me. After I did this, this thought from God came to me …" If you had to do this again, would you do anything differently?"
I thought about it and came to the conclusion that I would not do anything differently. I shared what I felt I was to share.
And, with this realization, the heavy feeling of sadness was immediately lifted off me, and I was fine and I ate my lunch in peace and with joy, realizing what God had just done for me!
(JB ... It is so difficult to do something "good" and have those who call themselves "Christian" reject you when all you did is share what is in the Bible. Persecution for the words sake. The apostle Paul says: II Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.)

John 10:27-30 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any (man or spirit) pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. And I and my Father are one.
A wonderful declaration to us as to our destiny if we continue to hear and follow God.

I believe this was when my youngest son was still in high school (he’s in his 30’s now), I had several dreams about him that showed very negative things spiritually, he being against Jesus.
I was so concerned for him and his salvation. One day I was crying and prayed very fervently for his salvation and asked if I could have something to give me hope for him.
I think it was that very night, I dreamed that he was on his knees praying. But I was concerned, is he praying to the real God or someone like Buddha? Somehow I was given the knowledge that it was the real God he was praying to. Then on subsequent nights and throughout the following years I had additional dreams that seem to indicate he would be saved. These dreams, especially that first one, really relaxed me and have given me such hope that he will be saved.
Also 2 scriptures were called to my attention after I had prayed that very fervent prayer.
Psalm 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Psalm 102:17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
(I think it was this scripture, it was about our prayer not being despised.)

These also gave me hope, that my prayer was heard and would be answered.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
When I looked this scripture up, I found a note that Joan had written or said: "Through Him, The Word, we overcome the world when we hear That Word from the Spirit of God and do It".

CHURCH GATHERING
IN COLORADO SPRINGS:
July 22-26, 2024
We are going to try to conduct these meetings as Paul said to do when we gather as the church:
I Corinthians 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm (prayer), hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
I Corinthians 14:31 For ye may all prophesy (share) one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
And in the Bible, Jesus says to us:
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in MY name, there am I in the midst of them.
