Comments by Joan Boney:
In January 2024, I had a local business install two amplifiers to the sound system in my car.
The installer was covered with tattoos on his body.
When he finished the work, I found he had done a great job! I gave him a one-hundred-dollar bill as a "tip" to show him my great appreciation for his effort.
Later, after I got back home, this thought came to my mind: "He knows where you live because of the business records. He is going to come rob you, for he knows you have money because of the tip you gave him. You'd better get some bullets for your gun."
I was really frightened.
But I realized this thought was not a warning from God but was brought by a devil.
I do not want to get bullets for my gun. I do not want to kill anyone or anything. Once long ago I accidentally shot and killed a bird and it rolled down the roof of my house and fell dead at my feet. I was horrified! From that moment, I threw the bullets away that I had at my house.

I began thinking of how I had given entrance to that devil to bring that thought that came to me.
Earlier that evening I had been watching a TV show called, "I survived." (A woman told of having been on a plane traveling from Egypt to another country. The plane was hijacked and the hijackers forced the plane to land and began killing Jewish people and shoving their dead bodies out of the airplane.) It was a very interesting TV show. But I "vowed" not to watch that show again.
2 Corinthians 10
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

The devil brings thoughts to our minds to "steal, kill, and destroy us."
Our weapon is to turn to God in prayer ... and then focus on any scripture God brings to our mind. And we should stop giving entrance to devils when we know we have done something to frighten ourselves!

Recently Pam Padgett gave a report of being warned in a dream. There was a fire in her house.
She prayed and felt led to call a plumber to fix an air duct on her clothes dryer. It had gotten filled with lint. It had not been serviced in a couple years.
God was warning her.
So there are times God will warn us by dreams!
But I knew God was not telling me to get bullets for my gun. I don't want to kill anyone even if that person wants to harm me!
I John 4:1-3
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Many times, after a destructive thought comes to my mind, I say: "Do you confess Jesus Christ is come to the flesh?" And immediately comes to my mind, "Yes" or "No."
I once asked God, "Can we speak to a spirit this way?"
God said: "God is a Spirit and you speak to God this way."
