Podcast: Dream from many years ago when Cuba was considered to be "the" problem

I was given the following dream, I think maybe in the 60's:  "Cuba is not the problem.  Mexico is the problem."

A few days ago, I heard someone on TV speaking of "Happy New Year".

What is coming?  God knows.  How can man wish "Happy New Year" to another human? I wondered.  And man has no power to do this!  Yet he readily does this!  How can that be?

πŸ’₯  God, WHO giveth us richly all things to enjoy ...

I Timothy 6:17

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

(And certainly salvation to eternal life through the Word of God is the greatest thing of all, though God does give us "toys" along the way and we really enjoy them too.)

We see God by the large things and the small things ... we serve HIM and try to please God in all things.  And we know most, if not all, the blessings of this life are from God!

We know what comes at the end for the Bible tells us.  And the Bible shows us if the time is not shortened no flesh will be saved, "but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."

Enjoy that which God has given us, seeing the goodness of God toward us.  And let us focus on that which is good without denying the evil of man.  And hold fast to our faith in God for if that goes we discard hope.

God does not give us more than we are able to endure:

I Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Jesus warns:  Mt. 24 ... "Because iniquity abounds the love of many will wax cold."

Iniquity is certainly abounding ... but much of it I really do not have to see!  (Instead I can choose to watch some of the wonderful comedies on old DVD's.)

Enjoy that which you know God has given you!  And be thankful, daily.
