πŸ’₯ By one offering, Jesus, we are perfected forever if we continue in faith in HIM.

Hebrews 10

1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

The first covenant is replaced by the second covenant:  The New Covenant

9 Then said HE, Lo, I come to do THY will, O God. HE taketh away the first, that HE may establish the second.  10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man (Jesus), after HE had offered one sacrifice for sins (which was HIS ownself) for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

14 For by one offering HE (Jesus) hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

When we are born again by God, by HIS Spirit, our sins are taken away.  We do not continue in those sins.  We are now new creatures.  HIS Holy Spirit now lives in us. We go forward following the Holy Spirit of God and the Word given us in the New Testament Bible.

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Hebrews 10:16-18 (God says)  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put MY laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin

(Comments by Joan Boney)  I was born again the night of August 5, 1975, when God spoke to me these words,  "Joan ... You know those mistakes you've been making all these years?  Those weren't mistakes.  Those were sins."  I was changed instantly by God, born again, a new creature.

I was changed immediately by God upon hearing this word.

As a new baby, from the flesh of my mother and father, I was born as the natural man.

Now I am born again, by the Holy Spirit of God living in me to lead me in the ways of God with the laws of God written by God in my heart and in my mind, recreated in the image of God, instantly. Now I no longer want to sin for I am born of the Spirit of God.  And my way now is written in my heart and confirmed by the Word of God in the New Testament Bible.

As I follow that which is brought to my mind by the Holy Spirit, I do the NT Bible, the Word of God, which is Jesus.

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

We read the NT Bible and the Holy Spirit, WHO is in us, brings to our mind what "The Word" says to show us what to do.  So as we yield to that which the Holy Spirit brings to our mind, doing that, we follow HIM.

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

We still have our flesh suggesting to us what it wants to do but we keep our flesh under control by walking in the way of God shown us by the Holy Spirit of God.

Romans 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The evil of the last days is very great ... TV, Books, and often humans in form of those persons who are not born again.

So God tells us to exhort one another daily and especially as we see the day of the Lord approaching.  (I certainly do this with blog and podcasts but also I try to yield to anything the Holy Spirit brings to my mind and follow that when I am with another person, both church person and those not born again.)

Hebrews 3

6 But Christ as a son over HIS own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted ME, proved ME, and saw MY works forty years.

10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known MY ways.

11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into MY rest.)

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

17 But with whom was HE grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

18 And to whom sware HE that they should not enter into HIS rest, but to them that believed not?

19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Jesus said the iniquity of the last days would cause many to grow cold.

A Baptist woman told me it will do no good to share because they won't do it.

We must not allow devils to speak this to us and pull us away from the Bible which tells us to exhort one another daily and even more as we see the day approaching.  We try to give them a chance and keep them from turning away from what God says.

Hebrews 3:13-14  13 But exhort one another dailywhile it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 10

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know HIM  that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
