We
are reserving an historic tour home in the old Broadmoor area of
Colorado Springs. They allow church groups to use this meeting room for
free. The "mansion " was built around 1888. Should be very interesting.
Very near Gardens of the Gods, where we hope to meet one time. Beautiful, spectacular rock formations.
We
can meet at one of the park pavilions at Fox Run Regional Park. They
have cook areas with barbeque grills set in tall Ponderosa pine.

All meeting areas have wheelchair access ... I can't walk.
Usual temperature in late July about 75 to 84.
We
hope to drive to Woodland Park for one meeting (about 15 miles from Colorado Springs) ... short drive into
Rocky Mountains at back of Pikes Peak 14,000 ft. Hope to find meeting
place there
USA Air Force Academy is building visitor center and if finished meeting there is possible.
A little village named Monument near foot of mountains is another possibility. (7000 ft) Beautiful little lake and park.
If this interest you please save dates on your calendars. (We will present detailed information in June so you can secure motel/hotel. Or if inclined you could camp out!)

If you fly to Denver you need to come on Sunday 21 and we can pick you up either in car or by renting small van.
Or fly into Colorado Springs air port. (Taxi or hotel transportation)

We will try to set up gatherings as the apostle Paul said to do in 1 Cor. 14:26.
One of the Marriott Hotels is about 2 miles from where we live. We are going to see if we can arrange convention rates. It is nice. (some rooms with view of Pikes Peak) We will try to speak to manager about special rates. Make reservations immediately after we check convention rate possibilities which we will try to do next week and publish on our blog. July is peak tourist season in Colorado Springs.

Or you could choose 5-Star Broadmoor Hotel ... elegant, famous hotel built in approximately 1920.
Better make reservations now if you select Broadmoor ... tourist season in July!
