Lamentations 3:22-23 ... It is of the Lord 's mercies that we are
not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every
morning:great is thy faithfulness.
James 3:16 ... For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
Lamentations 3:24-26 ... The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. 25 The Lord is good unto them that wait
for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should
both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
Philippians 4:4-8 ... Rejoice in the Lord alway:and again I say,
Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at
hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren,
whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever
things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are
lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Isaiah 40:29-31 ... He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have
no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be
weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon
the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as
eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not
faint.
Psalm 39:4-5 ... Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my
days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. 5 Behold, thou hast
made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
