1 Timothy 6:6-10 ... But godliness with contentment is great
gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can
carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith
content. 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare,
and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction
and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil:which
while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced
themselves through with many sorrows.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 ... For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war
after the flesh:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but
mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down
imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the
knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ;
Psalm 18:28 ... For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
Psalm 18:30-32 ... As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord
is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. 31 For who is
God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God? 32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
