What is important for the church?

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Recently a church leader asked me to send teachings for their church group.

As I sat and considered what is important for the church and where to start, one thing was clear to me.  It all begins and ends with having the Spirit of God and hearing from the Spirit of God.

If you have the Spirit of God, God is teaching you by HIS Spirit.  You go about life and you are reminded of a scripture.  This is a special message from God by HIS Spirit to you.  STOP!  Look up that scripture.  How does it pertain to your life?  What changes (if any) do you need to make to conform your direction to fit that instruction?

Or it may be you will be reminded of a dream ... Again, stop and think on that dream.  What is God showing you by that dream.

Some do not have the Spirit of God.  They add themselves to the church by their own will and they sit among us as if they are the church but when we look closely we often see they do not have the Spirit of God but have added themselves to our group.

Jude tell us about this:  Jude verse 17 ... But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Such people try to follow God by their own mind.  They watch us and try to copy us.  But they are always a little off.

And some leave us.  They will sit among us for months, even for years, and all of a sudden they depart.  Let them go.  This departing shows they do not have the Spirit of God.  John tells us that in the following scripture.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. I Jn. 2

Don't try to stop them from leaving.  Don't try to bring them back.  Let them go for they do not have the Spirit of God when they leave us who have the Spirit of God.

But for those of us who have the Spirit of God, we know that as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  (Romans 8)

We who belong to God follow the Spirit of God as we live on this earth and we abide in HIM as we live in that which the Spirit of God speaks concerning the issues of this present life.
