Do you have any plans?

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Humans love making plans.  It seems to be a way they can accomplish something.

But here are some things the Bible says about making plans ... WARNINGS ...

Proverbs 27:1 ... Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

James 4:13-16 ... Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

Mt. 6  (Jesus says) ... But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Phil. 2  (Paul instructs the church) ... Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation,

I have no plans at all for future ... except for dental appointment (every 6 months) ... eye doctor appointment ... hair cut appointment.

So often ministers write to me and list plans for future.  When this happens I always know these plans were not given to them by God but these plans are conjured out of their own minds.

We, who are of God, simply take care of today with a faith that God will deal with today to put us in the right place for tomorrow.

There have been multiple times in my life when I had no assignment at all from God and I just waited on HIM.  Twice, I waited for as much as 6 months before I was given an assignment.  As I wait, I take care of what I see to do that day, reading Bible, thinking on things given to me by Holy Spirit.  When God wants me to do something HE reveals it to me and I move immediately just as they did in the examples of Numbers 9.

And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning. 16So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. 17And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. 18At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents. 19And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.  20And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. 21And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.  22Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. 23At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: Numbers 9

The way of God is so different from the way of humans.  Humans think they must plan ahead in order to achieve results.  But God takes us one step at a time and each step puts us into the exact place HE wants us to be without pressure that comes from human plans.

Another thing having a list of plans for future does is to impress people ... to make others think you are important.

Beware!
