In Psalm 105 we're told about the children of Israel being delivered
from bondage to the Egyptians, and see that God prepared them for the
way ahead ...
Psalm 105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
God brought them out of Egypt with
silver and gold. When they left Egypt, they didn't know they would need these things,
but God led them before leaving Egypt to spoil the Egyptians ...
Exodus 12:35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of
Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels
of gold, and raiment: 36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the
sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they
required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
While in the wilderness, God instructed Moses to build the tabernacle and all that was in it. Moses was to tell the people to brings offerings that would be used in building the tabernacle ...
Exodus 25:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. 3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass, 4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats 'hair, 5 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers 'skins, and shittim wood, 6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense, 7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate. 8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. 9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
The people brought offerings, even more than the workmen needed ...
Exodus 36:5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make. 6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing. 7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
And not one person in all the tribes of Israel was feeble. About six
hundred thousand men, beside children, came out of Egypt, and not one of them
was feeble. Amazing! God led them through a wilderness. But God prepared them, even in physical
health, to make the journey.
They also were not feeble in skills. Skilful workmen were among the people to build the tabernacle and all in it.
God knows every detail of what we will need to follow His instruction. When God is leading us, we have everything needed.
