Word mixed with faith

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Heb. 4:2 ... For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

When we act on the word, we mix the word with faith.

Several week ago, I read the following scripture:

Phil. 4:8 ... Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

One day, I decided to do the above.  I set about to actually think on things that were true, honest, just, pure, lovely, things of good report, things that had virtue and praise.

The doing of the instruction brings faith into the action.

James spoke of doing the word.

James 1 ... But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
