There are many who call themselves Christians and attend church but fail to ask God what to do in the simple things of this present life. These people so often go about in their own wisdom, never thinking to ask God what HE wants done. And they end up causing a lot of unnecessary trouble for themselves and for others.
Those who really belong to God learn along the way to ask God what HE wants them to do in the specific issues of this life as those issues surface.
Prov. 3 ... Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7Be not wise in thine own eyes
The above becomes a way of life for us and we learn to ask God about everything.
By this we live in peace on this earth.
