Psalm 23:1-3 ... The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He
maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still
waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 ... Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in
his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the
rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in
this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which
exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for
in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
Matthew 11:28-30 ... Come unto me, all ye that
labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke
upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye
shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden
is light.
1 Corinthians 5:9-13 ... I wrote unto you in an epistle not to
company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of
this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters;
for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written
unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a
fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or
an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do
to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are
within? 13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away
from among yourselves that wicked person.
