Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
II Chron. 11 ... And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam. 2But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying, 3Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying, 4Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.
After my mother died, my cousin tried to get me to move to Albuquerque where she lives but God gave me a dream to show me not to go through my cousin's house. At the time she said her 2 boys (adult age sons) would be very helpful as we grew older. But God showed me not to do this so I didn't do it.
Another example ... I looked favorably upon one of the women at the bridge center, sort of like she was a daughter. Then God began giving me dreams about her and the dreams were negative. I believed the dreams and put aside the kind feelings I had toward her and focused instead upon that which God showed me in the dreams.
When we belong to God and are about to go in a way that would not be the best way to go, I know God can turn us.
In all thy ways acknowledge him (pray, asking God what to do), and he shall direct thy paths. Prov. 3:6
