Joan Boney ... apostle / prophet
Eph. 6 ... Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the
power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be
able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not
against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour
of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having
done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about
with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying
always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching
thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
We must surround ourselves with truth. The way of this world, presented by our own fleshly thoughts, by TV, by other humans is opposite to the way of God.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55
Antichrist brings thoughts opposite to the way of God. We who are of God must follow the Spirit of God in truth. We must choose truth. We must know truth by renewing our minds to word of God. We meditate day and night in scripture to enable us to be strong enough to do truth when we are confronted with way opposite to God.
Righteousness has to do with taking ideas to God to see what HE wants so we can go in the way that is right in the sight of God.
Peace involves the following definitions of the word "peace"
- quiet, calm, silence, tranquil
- free from agitation, anxiety, dread
- free from disturbance, turmoil
- end hostilities
- not contentious or quarrelsome
- freedom from strife or disorder
- untroubled
So much of seeking peace and living in peace has to do with taking trouble to God in prayer and settling the matter with God through prayer.
Dread is a very interesting part of peace. If you dread something that is upcoming, then you really need to talk with God to see if you should cancel the event or if you cannot cancel to see if through prayer you can see what to do to enable you to go forth in peace and assurance. Do not try to ignore dread. This will not work. You must learn to talk to God about those things which you dread.
Faith is focusing on that which is spoken to you by God through HIS Spirit and choosing to believe that word.
Salvation is understanding of our sins being paid for by Jesus Christ. We do not pay for sins with penance, with our own works. Jesus paid for our sins. When we do wrong, we must return to this concept.
The word of God we dress ourselves in daily as one would put on a garment. We do this by reading the Bible daily and by focusing on any verse that stands out to us as we read, knowing that is the Spirit of God showing us what we need at that point in time.
Prayer: We pray over all things in our lives. And we pray for others as they are brought to mind. I don't have a "prayer list". I just try to be sensitive to those brought to my mind during the day as I go about the things of this life. That way I feel it is God authoring the prayer and not my own "religious" flesh doing the work. Only the works authored by God will be valid.
When we dress ourselves daily in these parts of the armor of God, we will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Eph. 6)
