Daniel 5:18-21 ... O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar
thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour: 19 And for
the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages,
trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would
he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put
down. 20 But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in
pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory
from him: 21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was
made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed
 him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven;
till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and
that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ... To every thing there is a season, and a time to
every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a
time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time
to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build
up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time
to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones
together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A
time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast
away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a
time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and
 a time of peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:14 ... I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for
ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God
doeth it, that men should fear before him.
Psalm 23:1-6 ... The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh
me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for
his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy
staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup
runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days
of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
