Psalm 18:32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
While thinking about this verse, I thought of how when we turn to God
with each matter we face, and wait to hear from the Holy Spirit what we
are to do, we are made strong knowing that it is God leading us in the best way in the matter, and He enables us to do according to His will in the
situation. I was reminded of the following ...
Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the
everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his
understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no
might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be
weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon
the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as
eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not
faint.
And when we have heard from God what to do, we have a firm foundation
for moving forward ... the word of God for us in the matter ... showing the perfect way for us to go, and it will not fail ...
Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house
upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the
winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was
founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of
mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which
built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods
came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and
great was the fall of it.
