John 4 (Jesus says)
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship HIM.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.

So
we don't go to a place to worship God. We don't go to a building to
worship God. We worship God wherever we are day and night for God
dwells in us.

We worship HIM who is invisible as did Moses.
Hebrews 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing HIM who is invisible.

We
can't make an image of a spirit for a spirit has no image. To do such
is to worship something which is a creation out of the mind of man.
Therefore, no crosses, no images of a man molded in the form of the flesh. These are "idols".
We fall down before God each time we do the instruction given by God by HIS Word.
We worship God day and night, even while we sleep, and wherever we are because God is in us.
I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Therefore
put away those idols which you see with your natural eyes, and worship
in your heart the God who is a spirit and cannot be seen, the God who
created the heaven and earth.
