(The
New Testament sabbath is not the same as the Old Testament Sabbath in
requirements. In the OT the people could not go out of their tents on
the sabbath. They could not cook their food on the sabbath. NT sabbath
is a continual rest, day by day, trusting in the Word of God and
ceasing from their own works as God did from HIS. Hebrews 3
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our
confidence stedfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will
hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 16 For
some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of
Egypt by Moses.17 But with whom was HE grieved forty years? was it not
with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18 And
to whom sware HE that they should not enter into HIS rest, but to them
that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of

of the Jews weren't even able to keep the Law of Moses, says Peter.
The New Testament Church has the New Testament Scripture which show the
NT laws of God for the NT Church. We in the church today keep those
commandments of God that are in the NT Bible.)

21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.
22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. (Today God speaks to us from heaven through the Holy Spirit who brings thoughts from God to our mind and dreams.)
23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. (We do not sacrifice animals today as they did in Old Testament. The blood of Jesus is our sacrifice in the New Testament church today.)
25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
