💥 Man gives reasons, showing himself to be wise in his own eyes.

Those who hear from God and follow what God has said to them rarely gives reasons for what he does.  God told him to do this thing so he did this.  

"This is what God told me to do."

From the beginning of the creation when God created man and woman,  humans have shown they want to be "as God".  (reasoning the situation and knowing good and evil of their own thinking without seeking God and without knowing the will of God)

Genesis 3

1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

(Devils speaking is twisted and often that makes it difficult to sort though.)

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

(Eve added to that which God said.)

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

God created the heavens and the earth and the sun, moon, and stars and told them what to do and placed them in the place created for them and they obeyed God, staying in the place where God placed them and doing that which God told them to do.

God created the plants and animals and fish in the sea.

God even told the sea how high the waves could come upon the sand of the shores and they obeyed God.

God gave man everything needed for life.  Man disobeyed God in his desire to be as God.

Genesis 3:6  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The apostle Paul said:

I Corinthians 2

1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

People often love to hear us when we tell what we have done.  But they show that they do not want to hear what God told us to do, unless they worship God and belong to HIM.  Many people who attend churches and are members of various church groups have backed away when I have said, "God told me this."  or have said, "God told me to do this."

We praise God when we tell what God said to us.

John 16  Jesus said:

(Concerning the Holy Spirit)

13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

14 HE shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.

Recently God gave me this warning:  When they give you their reasons for doing something they show what they think from their own mind.

(They are not saying anything about God showing them this thing or that they sought God concerning what they should do.)

If we hear from God, we simply tell what God said to us.  Or we can say, "I believe God told me this."

But beware when they give a list of reasons they think something or did something.  This shows their own mind.
