There has always been sin, but when sin becomes open and approved by the masses, those sins reach into heaven before God, and God takes action by bringing HIS destruction, as in the time of Noah and later in time of Sodom.
We are currently watching the rapid approval of forms of life which bring God's judgment upon this earth.

There are decades I prefer but I do know this: God appoints the time we will live and the exact places where we will live.
Acts 17:26 And (God) hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
So it is not by accident that we live in 2022 and God also appoints the exact places where each of us live.

Though I do not like the 2022 period of time, I can say I thank God for putting me in the period where we have Internet for both blog and podcast whereby we can send messages to the church all over this world daily!
I believe my assignment from God is to help the church to be prepared for the return of Jesus which might even be during our lifetime. As we conform our thinking to various scripture, we are recreated by God into the image of The Word of God.
Though iniquity increases in both the world and the apostate churches, our role as Christians is to continue to serve God and keep HIS commandments and live in HIS Word. enduring to the end of our lives on this earth through faith in God while witnessing the demise of this world as their sins become openly approved by masses of people.
Galatians 5
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Paul tells us the following:
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
The way of our flesh and the way of the Spirit are opposite.
When we choose to go in the way of the Spirit, the fruits produced are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:
The devil will bring hatred to our mind but the Spirit of God will bring love.
We choose which we will follow.
When we follow the Spirit we choose to walk in the way of God.
The people of the world follow the flesh. But we who are born of God choose to keep our flesh dead and follow the Spirit.
At the end, God will judge this world and destroy this world.
2 Peter 3
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
