💥 We shall bear the image of the heavenly when Jesus comes to remove us from this present earth.

 

1 Corinthians 15

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The apostle Paul tells us that we will not have these earthly bodies in heaven for the bodies we now have are subject to decay, disease, sorrow.

We will be changed before we are taken into heaven.

God will give us a new spiritual body before we are raised.

And we will be changed by God into our new heavenly body very fast, "In the twinkling of an eye."  Blink ... that is how fast we will be changed.
