10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

π₯ Believe the promises of God and wait patiently in peace for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our goals on this earth are very simple. God redeemed us from the way of the flesh of man and gave us a new way to live on this earth. We live in the understanding of the scriptures that we who believe in the Word of God will be removed from this earth by HIS Word. Therefore we seek the will of God for us daily and wait patiently for the coming of Jesus and removal from this earth.
When Jesus removes us we will be taken to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
So we focus on that new heaven and new earth and live in peace on this earth in-as-much as it is in our power to do so.
As we wait, we follow the Spirit of God doing the works of God living in the Spirit of God producing the fruits of God: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. (Galatians 5:22-23)
When we are tempted to hate, we know that is not the way of God for we know the way of God is to love so we choose to walk in the way of God, keeping our own flesh dead with Christ, not permitting our flesh to rise up.
Instead we begin to pray for that person who offends us. Asking God to give that person what is needed. As we pray everything changes!
We think on the fruits produced by the Spirit of God and choose to walk in those ways of the Spirit.
Think about the ways of the Spirit that you may walk in them.
