Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus said:
John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Jesus came speaking only that which God had given Him and they rejected Jesus. But when the scribes and Pharisees spoke, they received them. The scribes and Pharisees spoke by their own way of thinking about the subject, not by the revelation of God. Later they killed Jesus, The Word.
Today we have the same thing. Many ministers come "in their own name", saying "Jesus is Lord" but speaking things of man ... clever sayings of man to tickle the flesh of man and the listeners delight in these ministers. But the same people who delight in these clever ministers have no delight at all when someone comes speaking what God has shown by revelation of God.
But God has left HIMSELF a remnant which has the true Spirit of God and they delight in the true Word from God.
Most people who attend churches today do not have the spirit of God but another spirit. Therefore they attend church as a ritual, thinking such makes themselves "good" and of God.
Those who are given the Spirit of God are the ones who know God and delight in the true Word of God. But only a few people are given this... a remnant.
Romans 11 ... Paul explains ... Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? (Elijah) how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
If we are one of that "election of grace", God revealing HIMSELF to us, we should rejoice greatly that God chose us and that we belong to HIM.
And we follow HIM by HIS Spirit, doing HIS will as revealed to us as HIS children of the promise, not as the children of the flesh.
If you are truly of God, of the Spirit of God, and if you attend a church group, you might be the only one in that church group who truly belongs to God.
Though they say "Jesus is Lord" and they say they belong to God, they delight themselves in clever sayings of man. And they do not want to hear the real word of God and they cannot hear for they do not belong to God though they say, "Jesus is Lord."
Concerning the last days, Jesus says:
Mt. 24 ... Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.
But they and their followers do not delight in the real word of God, in that which God reveals by HIS servants. (They do not even recognize that word that is from God ... They hear the "religious" words from the cleverness of men.) They do not want to hear "those" words that God sends. They glance at those words and cast them aside and cling to fleshly, "clever" people who come in their own wisdom, in their own name, by their own will.
This is what the churches are like today where the masses go to "worship".
And they love big numbers of men. So they eliminate anything that might offend anyone and preach "another gospel" which ends up being a gospel to please and approve men in their cravings on this earth.
Paul said ... I Cor. 2 ... 1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
If you are of God, just rejoice that God chose you and that you really love HIS word.
In the end, God will sort it out.
Mt. 13 ... 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest:and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them:but gather the wheat into my barn.
