Psalm 78 ... 65 Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, as a warrior wakes from the stupor of wine.
66 He beat back his enemies; he put them to everlasting shame.
67 Then he rejected the tents of Joseph, he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim;
68 but HE chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loved.
What was the prophesy over Judah?
Genesis 49 ... And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob;
and hearken unto Israel your father.
... 8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise:
thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies;
thy father's children shall bow down before thee.
9 Judah is a lion's whelp:
from the prey, my son, thou art gone up:
he stooped down, he couched as a lion,
and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah,
nor a lawgiver from between his feet,
until Shiloh come;
and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal unto the vine,
and his ass's colt unto the choice vine;
he washed his garments in wine,
and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
12 His eyes shall be red with wine,
and his teeth white with milk.
Judah was a lawgiver ... righteousness declared to the people ... strength as a lion, courage, fearing nothing ... ruler
God loves righteousness.
Antichrist is a man of lawlessness.
II Thess. 2 ... (NASB) ... apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so- called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
Lawlessness increases before the second coming of Jesus. Antichrist reigns inside the churches. Laws of God are removed from the churches and a doctrine contrary to doctrine of the Bible is set up to please men.
