Leviticus - Part 4 ... VIewing the works of God through scripture

Leviticus 18:22 ... (homosexuals) ... Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind:it is abomination.

Concerning homosexuals and lesbians: NT church ...

Romans 1 ... 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Paul says homosexuals (the effeminate) will not inherit eternal life ... that is to say unless God opens their eyes to this sin and then they can be saved.

I Cor. 6 ... 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you:but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

But after being sanctified in the name of Jesus and by the Spirit of God, none of these previous sins can be a part of that persons life ...


Heb. 10 ... 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses 'law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

To the woman taken in adultery, Jn. 8, Jesus said:  Go, and sin no more ...

She could not continue in her sin of adultery...

Leveticus 18 ... 23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith:neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto:it is confusion. 24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things:for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

25 And the land is defiled:therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. 

26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) 28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you. 

29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. 

30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein:I am the Lord your God.

We live in perilous times, as Paul said.  II Tim. 3

Before our eyes constantly, especially in USA, we have fornication, adultery, homosexuals ... all being approved by today's society ...

Certainly godly people do not approve such but the masses today, unlike the masses for the 1940's for example, approve these sins and defend the "rights" of sinners to do these sins.

We must not drift into their thinking for these sins will bring the wrath of God upon the earth and we do not want to be on the wrong side when God judges.

Everything must be judged by:  What does God have to say about this?  (God shows us in the Bible by HIS Spirit)
