Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
In Jesus' description of the end times, HE says ...
Mt. 24 ... 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
iniquity: immoral or grossly unfair behavior; not equal or just
In the last days, Paul says, the people will be:
lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:from such turn away. II Tim. 3
They will have "a form of godliness" ... perhaps saying to us, "Jesus is Lord", but they show themselves to be following another spirit, a spirit not of God. And we do see in them some of the characteristics mentioned by the apostle Paul in II Tim. 3.
Paul said it will be perilous times. II Tim. 3 ... Because we will see these things in people.
But we cannot allow ourselves to be swept away by their disobedience. Instead we must pray and focus on that called to our attention by the Holy Spirit, holding fast in spite of that which is done to us by the disobedient.
If we can focus on that which God says to us, we can rise above their disobedient acts.
It is a little like the times you see your own children disobey you. It can be very discouraging ... "Oh, what's the use?" you may ask.
You must realize those children were given to you by the Lord. So you continue to try because of the Lord.
I Peter 4 ... 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to HIM in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
