Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jn. 5:35 ... And Jesus said unto them, I (THE WORD) am the bread of life:
Lk. 22:20 .. This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
The Lord's supper is Jesus, The Word of God.
We partake of the Lord's supper as we "eat" the Word of God.
Crackers and grape juice are not the Lord's supper. These things were set up in church groups by men who viewed things of God by their own fleshly minds. They couldn't see the things of the Holy Spirit.
All the scripture in I Cor. 11 pertaining to the Lord's supper have to do with properly eating and drinking the Word of God and properly applying the Word of God to our lives.
We are told to "examine ourselves" .. this is as we partake of the Word of God. We cannot examine ourselves as we eat crackers and drink grape juice.
We are told if we eat and drink unworthily we bring damnation upon ourselves. (I Cor. 11:29) Again this concerns proper absorbing of the Word of God. When we misuse the Word of God, we bring damnation upon ourselves. We must be very careful in the way we handle the Word of God. This has nothing at all to do with crackers/grape juice as many church groups are taught.
Power is in the Word of God given by the Spirit of God. There is no power at all in crackers/grape juice.
The Lord's supper is partaking of the Word of God sent by the Spirit of God. This is indeed "meat" and "drink" for the church.
