Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
We have a woman in our little church group who frets herself and others as she tries to plan for future events.
Another woman in our group said, "Oh that's just Sandra." (Indicating she couldn't help it and she did it by her own nature.)
But when we are born again, our natural man is put to death in us and the Scripture and the word spoken directly to us by God creates us into the image of Christ when we follow scriptures and specific words spoken to us by God, doing the instruction given in the scripture.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Jesus said: Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
*****
When we belong to God, instead of fretting over what might happen "tomorrow", we learn to pray about tomorrow, asking God to help us with our fear of tomorrow, putting our trust in God through prayer. Connecting to God through prayer.
And when we do that, the apostle Paul says:
Phillipians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
When we turn to God each time we have a troubling thought and pray, pouring out our heart before God, making our requests known unto God, we have peace of God.
When we try to work everything out according to our own minds, we have more trouble. Often we will find the trouble increasing until our torment becomes consuming, and we go a little crazy as we try to solve the problem by our own thinking. And when we do what we or another human says, we might even end up making the situation worse ... hurting someone or an animal.
God will never give us bad wisdom. A human might. Our own mind might think something is good when it is bad.
Proverbs 3:5-7
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart (by taking the problem to God in prayer, showing a trust in God);
In all thy ways acknowledge HIM (Pray over the matter), and HE shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. (The evil is in thinking you can take care of the problem yourself, by your own thinking ... thus being puffed up in yourself.)

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

In January, 2018, there is evidence that Sandra began to turn from her own wisdom and began to pray over various things, learning to put her trust in God concerning the issue at hand. Instantly her thinking became solid for God was leading her.
At one point, God told Sandra: "It's time to get a dog."
Sandra believed that word and set about to select the breed of dog.
She purchased a puppy and was waiting till the puppy was old enough to be separated from it's mother.
Then Sandra began to try to be perfect in her own eyes and by human methods ... buying all kinds of books about dogs ... being wise in the eyes of the humans who wrote the books. Turning from God in the matter. Showing faith in the humans rather than putting her faith in God.
Sandra began to get twisted again in her thinking as she trusted in humans and in her own ideas.
Sandra began to get twisted again in her thinking as she trusted in humans and in her own ideas.
I warned her.
II Peter 2:20-22 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Sandra responded to my warning as follows:
When God said to me “It’s time to get a dog”, I
ordered a stack of books that I wanted to read, not even asking God for
HIS help and wisdom.
I started out reading the one that seemed like the best one, but a few days ago Joan warned me that I should trust in God and not in books or TV shows.
I put the books aside and prayed, asking God to show me if there was anything I should read, or if I should throw them out. I did throw away most of them.

(Again trusting in her own wisdom rather than praying ... ignoring previous word which was from God: "Be not wise in your own eyes." Proverbs 3 ... trying to judge the book herself, delighting in what she thought was right, again reaching out to another human in the matter rather than praying and resting in truth that God would show her what to do each time a problem arose with puppy.)
Sandra says: As I read, I realized that this book was laid out in a way that made sense to me and it was easy to read. I read another chapter tonight and enjoyed it.
(Being wise in her own eyes ... failing to focus on the word from God which said: "Just because it's in a book doesn't make it right.")
Sandra said: As I read I realized that, whereas the first book had caused me to feel confused and stressed, this book was very calming to me. I plan to pray about this book every day, and continue to read it only if God leads me to.
(What did God say to Sandra: "Just because it's in a book doesn't make it right.")
Yet Sandra is going to continue in a book written by a human rather than putting her trust in God and the word which God used to warn her ... "Just because it's in a book doesn't make it right.")
Although Sandra convinced herself that she could go on in the book written by humans and pray as to whether or not she should read this book, God had already given her the answer for her in this matter: "Just because it's in a book doesn't make it right."
Sandra says: It would be very foolish of me to think I can handle anything, big or small, without God’s guidance all along the way … concerning this puppy and everything else in my life.
*****
Comments by Joan Boney ... Sandra threw away all the books but one book.
Basically she negated faith in God, still turning to a human for wisdom through that one book, ignoring the fact that "just because it's in a book doesn't make it right."
This word was a warning from God ... It applied to all the books she had turned to for wisdom of man concerning puppy ... and she "lusted" after man's wisdom as she began reading, with great joy, that one book. (tempting God)
Since she had a book to lead her concerning puppy, she would no longer need God.
Basically this was the result of her action.
And she delighted in what she read in the one book.
Now she would have the answers from humans that she could see rather than trusting in God, a Spirit, that she could not see.
(But God wisdom is always right ... God has told her the writing in human books might not be right.)
*****
Then flipped/floped ... she reported that she thought she would do following: "Don't plan on reading any more books."
Which I judged as not being a word from the Spirit of God.
What Sandra should have done throughout this entire story is she should have kept the following word, which was from God, before her day and night and let it rule everything else in this manner.
"Just because it's in a book doesn't make it right."
When we do this and keep that instruction before us, the instruction will work through our heart and cause us to do that specific word from God.
Proverbs 6:20-23 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

God is trying to show her it is foolish to put your trust in that which a human says in a book.
Sandra very much wanted to go that way and had even convinced herself to read that one book.
She let her own desire lead her and set aside the word God had given her on the subject, thus putting her faith in man and eliminating the goal which is to put our faith in God.
(You can see a human ... You can't usually see God as a spirit... Trusting in the seen rather than the unseen.)
If she had kept that specific word God spoke to her before her day and night, that word would have worked it's way through her without her doing anything and it would have changed her.
*****
There was a time Sandra was so mixed up when she tried to talk that I couldn't understand what she was saying.
Then in January, 2018, she changed and began to make sense.
She had begun asking God for HIS wisdom.
Now she tried to revert back to her old ways, getting her wisdom from humans.
She seems to recognize the sin of her old way and hopefully will go forward asking God for His wisdom rather than seeking the wisdom of man.
If she does that, she will be fine and will grow in God.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

In this report, there are many foundational truths for each of us to observe and do.

Sandra's situation in this matter is so much like Lot when God took Lot out of Sodom.
Genesis 19:13 The angel said to Lot ... For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.
And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
(God is saying to Sandra, trusting in what humans write in those books does not make that which the human's say as right ... Sandra wanted to put her trust in humans rather than calling on God for wisdom ... but God had mercy on Sandra by speaking truth to her telling her the truth ... she wouldn't be safe trusting in humans even when the human wrote in into a book ... for that didn't mean what those humans said was right.)
Genesis 19:16-31 And while he (Lot) lingered, the men (the angels of God) laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
(God told Lot exactly where to go for safety)
And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that HE said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
(Lot begins to argue with God.)
And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
(God sent "The Word" to Lot telling him where to go and Lot began arguing with the Word sent by God.)
Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
(Lot thought he knew better than God.)
And HE said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.
Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
And HE (God) overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
(The angel of the Lord specifically told Lot not to look back. Lot's wife disobeyed the instruction from God and looked back, longing for Sodom and the desires of her mind which seemed fulfilled in Sodom, and suffered the consequences of her disobedience.)
And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:
And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
*****
After the fire and brimstone came down from God, Lot fled to the mountain as God had told him to do in the first place.
Genesis 19:30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

This reminded me of Sandra ... God warned her giving her this word ..."Just because it's in a book doesn't make it right."
Sandra kept back one of the books ... she really had a desire to keep that book ... Sandra thought she could trust in that which was spoken by the human in that book ... She did not trust God to lead her but she trusted that human in that one book.
It was like Lot's desire not to flee to the mountain where God told him he would be safe ... Lot thought he knew more than God ... Sandra did same thing.
*****
Sandra made a very big mistake in failing to focus on that one word given her by God.
"Just because it's in a book doesn't make it right."
Had Sandra kept that truth of that word before her day and night, that word would have kept her from her own desire toward humans.
Instead of that one word, she had note cards with bunches of scripture to focus on.
The Devil would like nothing better than getting you to have a 100 verses of scripture to replace the word God has spoken directly to you for your own well being.

From Pam Padgett ... Member of body of Christ
One of the things Joan suggested to Sandra is to consider reports I have given about handling various animal problems.
One of the things Joan suggested to Sandra is to consider reports I have given about handling various animal problems.
It might look like there is nothing to consider in these reports, for I have simply turned to God, asking for help with the problems, and God has given me what I needed to deal with the matter.
Joan and I were talking about this a short while ago, and were laughing at how I do nothing ... simply turn to God and do what HE shows me.
This is the whole point, although it seems absurd to the flesh which wants to do something.
As we were talking, I heard "stumbling block".
Our faith and trust can't be in our own wisdom or works, or the wisdom of other people.
Our faith is in God, and that HE knows what we need, and in HIS ability to get through to us with the help we need. A stumbling block to those who trust in the flesh.
