Wise men of the world would consider God's way foolish

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I Cor. 2 ... 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:for they are foolishness unto him:neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The people of the world would consider the following from God to be very foolish:

==========

I Tim. 4 ... 7 But refuse profane (secular) and old wives 'fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profiteth little:but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Lk. 5 ...  31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

Mt. 6 ...  33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow:for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

The people of the world delight in starting their day with newspaper or TV news and talk shows.  (The world is their wisdom and the talk of people of the world is their delight.)

but our delight is is what God has to say to us ... so we start our day with Bible ... wanting to know what God would say to us that day, lighting our daily path, correcting our way as needed, seeing the way of God for us day by day.

Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord;
and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so:
but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous:
but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Paul says:  Exercise yourself rather unto godliness ... I Tim. 4

Exercise to godliness ... make it your way of life to find a scripture each day and to exercise by that scripture, by looking a various words in that scripture, and finally by adjusting your path to fit that scripture that day or by correcting yourself by that scripture.

Delight in the word of God.

Build your house on the sayings of Jesus, The Word.

Mt. 7 ... Jesus says,  24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not:for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell:and great was the fall of it.
