II Tim. 2:8 ... Paul says ... Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love HIS appearing.
Comments by Joan Boney ... This crown of righteousness is laid up for all who love the revealing of the Word of God, thus "HIS" appearing. Many say, "Jesus is Lord", but when you share something of the Word that God has revealed to you, they show no sight of rejoicing. They just stare at you blankly, like dead people. They have no life in them though they think themselves to be Christians.
Those people who are of God are truly excited when you share a revelation from God concerning scripture. These are those Paul speaks of in II Tim. 2:8.
