Anitchrist exalts himself

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet]

Antichrist is a spirit who operates in humans.  He will cause those humans to exalt themselves whenever possible.  Humans, by their own flesh, desire to exalt themselves so this falls into that which humans desire to do anyway.  And in exalting themselves, humans go in a way opposite to God and thereby oppose God.  The desire to be higher is a goal most of us have experienced many times.

II Thess. 2 ...  that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The apostle Paul spoke of the lawlessness that was just waiting in the church to exalt itself and take over as soon as he was gone ...

Acts 20 ... Paul says ... 25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

The apostle John also spoke of many antichrists appearing among the church ... I Jn. 2 ... 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

We think of our generation living "in the last time" in the church but we see that John spoke of those days of the early church as "the last time" where lawlessness was there in those who were antichrists (opposite to Christ and exalting themselves in the church).  I Jn. 2 ... 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

There are certain messages that will drive those people away from us when they have lawlessness in their hearts.  They exalt their own opinions over the messages.

We had a woman among us who had strong medical training.  I knew when I quoted certain scripture she would be offended and leave us.  Sure enough, she left immediately when that scripture was quoted for it conflicted with her medical training.  Jesus said ... They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. (Mt. 9:12)  (This conflicts with today's practice of preventive medicine and people are offended when something conflicts with their worldly training unless they are of God.)

We who are of God are corrected by scripture but antichrist opposes various doctrines and sets his ideas up above those scripture.  This is antichrist spirit operating in the churches today.

It was not that antichrist would reign over this world but rather antichrist was going to set himself up in the temple of God (the church) to reign over God, opposing scripture and doctrines and setting up another gospel in the churches.  (II Thess. 2:4)

And antichrist would also try to cause us to exalt ourselves ... so we are cautious when this temptation comes to us knowing this is not the Spirit of God but another spirit opposite to God.

More and more we see scriptures being explained away in churches today and other doctrines opposite to scripture being set up to please people and attract disobedient to churches and make everyone feel good about himself in his sin so there is no repentance of that sin.

This is antichrist in the churches.  It was there in the day of Paul and John and it is in the churches today, probably in increased amount today ...

II Tim. 3 ... 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Often we have to leave those church groups because of false doctrines.
