I Cor. 15 ... 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

The people of this world, and many church people also, have a strong focus on the human body and "preserving" the humans body.
But no matter what you try to do the humans body, our flesh, is a corruptible matter and will, in time, putrefy and decay.
The ancient Egyptians thought they could preserve their bodies by embalming the bodies. They thought they would use their bodies in the next life.
The terrorist bombers today blow themselves up thinking they will be in paradise that same day.
We, who are of God, believe the Bible. Paul shows us in the above scripture that these bodies of flesh are "corruptible", will putrefy and decay. They will never be suitable for eternal life. These bodies are just temporary. We will all be changed from these bodies much as a person changes garments. We will be changed by God in the blink of an eye ... not by anything we do or work at. It will just be done instantly at the return of Jesus and we will rise, but these bodies will not rise with us. We will no longer be housed in these current physical bodies which putrefy.
