Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus said ... Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Mt. 24
Signs of the end: Abounding of iniquity.
Today, we have blatant sin: adultery, homosexuality ... Even many churches today approve these sins. When do you ever hear the following preached in the churches? "The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery." Mt. 5:32
At one time this was preached in churches but not now. Removal of scripture allows antichrist to reign inside the church itself. This is the falling away of II Thess. 2. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first (churches fall away from scripture and set up another doctrine), and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (Antichrist happens inside the churches ... in the "temple" of God)
It is not people leaving the churches but rather the churches departing from scripture in order to get more people to attend church. It makes the church like the world and brings people of the world (who have not the Spirit) into the churches.
Also Paul explains the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (I Cor. 6). Some individuals who have correct teaching may also depart from that correct teaching and thereby "fall away".
And in Jude we read:
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. Jude
They "join" the church by their own will but they do not have the Spirit of God. Thus they "separate themselves". They are mockers, like a mocking bird they try to imitate those they consider to be godly.
Amazingly I see this today in football as they pray on football fields in front of all. Nonsense. What are they praying for? To do good in football and beat the other team? How can this be? And they seem to have to have some "spiritual" way of showing themselves to be godly, like crossing themselves. They don't have any idea what they are doing because they are led by their own flesh and by the flesh of other men. Their acts have no power, just an appearance of godliness to other worldly people. They fool the world but they do not fool those who have the Spirit of God for we know these are not godly things that they do to be seen of men. No power of God in their religious acts.
So we see much evil today. Evil of the flesh and evil which has the appearance of godliness to the world.
Paul said in the last days there would be perilous times and this would be part of those times.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. II Tim. 3
All these things show us the signs of the approaching day of the Lord ... homosexuals, adultery, and sins inside the churches (departing from scripture to set up another gospel).
Iniquity abounds before the day of the Lord.
As we see the iniquity we know the day of the Lord draws nearer.
And those who really belong to God are not caught unaware as the world is caught unaware.
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. I Thess. 5
