When Jesus removes the elect from the earth

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Concerning the 2nd coming of Jesus ... Jesus explains:  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.  Mt. 24

In our group, two among us have had dreams showing the signs in the sky and in one dream, she was "taken up" (to meet Jesus in the air) ... (See the writing published 10-1-12 entitled:  "The end of our lives on this present earth")

From what Jesus writes in Matthew 24 and from the description given in the two dreams sited in 10-1-12 writing, here is what we could expect before Jesus returns for us.

All of a sudden, the sky turns dark ... the powers of heaven are shaken so there will be other signs in the sky... stars falling, lightnings (reported in one of the two dreams 10-1-12)

Everyone, all over the earth will see these signs in the sky.  Jesus says, For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Mt. 24:27
When the lightning comes everyone sees the lightning.

After the elect are taken up, what happens?  In my opinion, life does continue on the earth.  This is perhaps the time of the "great" tribulation.  I believe we have seen tribulation on the earth since the crucifixion but that which comes after the elect are removed is different from the tribulations of WWII and the Black Plague of the middle ages.

Many years ago, I had this dream:  The earth slipped on it's axis.  People were terrified.  The politicians, scientists, religious leaders were meeting to see what could be done about this.  A TV newsman was trying to report this on the news but he was so frightened he had to stop speaking.

I believe such a thing as this happened after the powers of heaven were shaken and possibly after the elect had been removed.

When the 6th seal is opened things get really bad on the earth.

Rev. 6 ... And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.  14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

I do not believe the elect will be on the earth when that happens.  I Thess. 5 tells us "God has not appointed us to wrath."

We know we are near the end because of the increase in sin and approval of sin in the world and even in many of the churches today.  We see the acceptance of sins such as adultery, fornication and even homosexuals.  We see churches fall away from specific scripture and see them change their doctrines to attract more people to their church groups.  (Mt. 32 is just one example of this.)  All this shows antichrist reigning in the churches.  (II Thess. 2)

We should recognize by these things going on today that we approach the coming of Jesus.

When the sky turns dark and the stars begin to fall, then look up ... for your redemption draweth nigh! Lk. 21:28

Then Jesus returns for HIS elect.

Lk. 21 ... And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

But life on this earth continues.

And God has reserved 144,000 who have not bowed their knee to Baal. (I believe they go through the "great" tribulation)

Rev. 7 ... And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

It appears there is the beginning of tribulation followed by the powers of heaven being shaken followed by the removal of the elect followed by the increased tribulation such as shown in the sixth seal of Revelation 6.

Toward the end things will be so bad that even the elect would perish except for the days being shortened.  Jesus says:  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.  Mt. 24:22

The scriptures indicate the sky will darken, the stars will fall, the powers of heaven will be shaken, and then Jesus will come for the elect.  (And I believe life continues after the elect are removed.)
