A
few days ago, the subject of a woman getting a manicure came up and I
remembered something Howard said to me. His daughter was getting a
manicure and Howard said it was so important to a woman to get a
manicure.
I was feeling a little bad about myself, thinking I just wasn't feminine enough for I would not want to get a manicure.
Pam said, "What is important is to be a godly woman ..."
I rejoiced for that is true. I want to be a godly woman and I think I am a godly woman because I have a fear of the Lord ... I don't want to be a worldly "feminine" woman.
It settled everything for me.

Later I was looking at above scripture, really considering it means.
Favor is deceitful ... Favor means approval or liking ... I thought of how some woman dress and look in ways which cause men to admire them but this is very "deceitful", temporary, fleeting. Humans give approval and take away approval. The only thing that matters is God and what HE thinks. Humans cannot be trusted nor appealed toward this way for it is fleeting and unreliable and deceitful.
Beauty is vain ... empty, useless, temporary, lacking substance
But the fear of the Lord is the beginning of real wisdom and HIS praise endureth forever.
