πŸ’₯ One will be taken, one left, when Jesus returns. Will we be ready the day Jesus returns?

Matthew 24   (Jesus says)

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but MY Father only.

37 But as the days of Noe (Noah) were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Comments by Joan Boney:

I have been called by God and was given the spiritual gift of "exhortation".

To "exhort" means:  to urge the church by advice and warning.  (Romans 12:8)

Concerning "exhortation" we are told the following in the Bible.

Hebrews 3

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

So "daily" I publish on our blog and present recorded Podcasts.

Hebrews 10:25  ...  but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Often the devil says to me:  "You write too much ... You speak too much."

But I read in the Bible to write and speak even more to the church as I see us approaching the return of Jesus, for the sin and wickedness of this world will get even worse as we near the return of Jesus.

So I exhort the church "even more" as the Bible says to do.

The devil would like me to stop doing this so he says in my ear, "They aren't listening to you.  They tire of you."

But I see by the scriptures in Hebrews 3 & 10 to exhort the church daily and to exhort them even more as the sin increases on this earth.

And I pray to be able to do this until I am removed from this earth.

Should I listen to devil and stop and Jesus returns, I will not be "ready" for I stopped my assignment and began to eat and drink with the wicked.

Matthew 24

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

So do the assignment which God has given you and continue doing that until Jesus returns to gather the elect.

(It is very simple.)
