💥 Isaiah: End time prophecies

 

Isaiah 13

 

9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and HE shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

(arrogancy: offensive display of self importance)

(haughtiness: scornful; contemptuous)

 

 

13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.

Comments by Joan Boney:  Many years ago, God gave me a dream where the earth slipped on it's axis and moved in the solar system.  People were terrified. The governments of men were meeting with scientists and with the religious leaders to see what could be done about this.  (Nothing can be done for it is of God.)  A TV newsman was trying to tell this story but he was so frightened that he could not speak.  Finally, he just got up and walked out of the room.

One of our church group had the following dream:  She and her husband were going out to buy a new TV.  She was at the car waiting for him when all of a sudden the sun turned completely dark.  Although she knew by the Bible that this signaled the coming of Jesus, she said, "It was terrifying."  

She started to run back into the house but then realized that would do no good.  So she just fell down on the ground on her knees!

Matthew 24   Jesus says:

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Galatians 5

16  Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Ideas brought by the Spirit will bring:  

22-23  love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

We learn to ask ourselves this before we speak:  "If I say that, will it bring love, joy peace, to the hearer?"

If not, we can know it is devils or our flesh wanting to react to the other person, and when we realize that, we turn to God and pray asking God to help us not to say what our flesh is wanting to say.

Ephesians 4:19  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
