πŸ’₯ Proverbs 22:10

Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

scorner:  a person who looks down on other people, considering a person to be beneath himself and worthless.

Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD (the Word); and in HIS law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

We can see what God thinks about the scorner by the following verses:

Proverbs 15:12  A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.

Proverbs 14:6  A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.

Proverbs 21:24  Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

Proverbs 3:34  Surely HE (God) scorneth the scorners: but HE giveth grace unto the lowly.

(Scorner: one who looks down with disdain on another person making fun of that person he feels is worthless or foolish.)
