πŸ’₯ What Covid should have taught us.

We had a taste of what this world will be like as we approach the end of the world and the coming of Jesus and the judgment of God.

We learned what it was to be separate from this world.  (Though some have no doubt returned to the world and the joys perceived to be from associating with this world.)

God warns us through scripture to come out and be separate and touch not the unclean.

2 Corinthians 6

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 John 2

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

(I do not wish anyone well unless I know he has the Spirit of God and follows God by HIS Spirit, otherwise I might be partaker of deed that are evil that he does in secret.)

During the Covid period, we went through a type of separation and isolation that most of us have never experienced.

We are going to see many additional evils and problems as we draw nearer to the end of this world and the return of Jesus.

The apostle Paul explains:

2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection (homosexual, lesbians, and people wanting to kill their own babies through abortion), trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

(They attend churches but approve ungodly acts which oppose scriptures)

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Without natural affection:

Romans 1

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Recently CNN presented a story about an Osprey bird who laid her eggs and during a hail storm protected her unborn babies by putting her own body over the eggs to protect them!

This is natural affection.

I thought of adult women who fight for the right to kill their own babies through abortion.  This is unnatural affection which the apostle Paul told us would be an element of the evil of the end times, 2 Timothy 3:3.

Paul told us to separate from such and leave them alone.  From such "turn away".  2 Timothy 3:5

If we try to fight the evil we can be consumed by the evil.  Turn away.

We will want to fight.  But do what the Bible says instead.

(I refuse to watch the abortion stories when they come on TV.  I just turn the TV off.)
