πŸ’₯ A very troubling message to those who killed Jesus.

Acts 5

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

31 Him hath God exalted with HIS right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

32 And we are HIS witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey HIM.

33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

One can repent and beg God to forgive him when he has sinned against God ... or he can try somehow to stop the message.

Messages from the Bible that often offend people.

Adultery:

Matthew 14

1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

2 And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

6 But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.

7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

Jesus said:  Matthew 5:32  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Adultery is a very unpopular message to speak to church groups.

Pam Padgett was raised Catholic but when she was teenager God told her the Catholic church could not save her and that her only hope was God.  She was born again, given the Holy Spirit to live in her.

Pam began reading the Bible.

Many years later, Pam began attending a non-denominational church.

A woman in the singles class was twice divorced and was looking for another husband.  She began dating a man in the singles class at that church.

Pam went to her and told her, according to the Bible, if she as a divorced woman remarried she would commit adultery.

The woman replied, "I don't care what the Bible says.  I know what I believe."

Pam was greatly shocked when this church going woman said she didn't care what the Bible said.

Pam went to the man this woman planned to marry, who also attended that singles class, and Pam told him that according to the Bible, the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.  This man said he would think about it.  But he continued with the plans to marry this divorced woman.

Pam also went to the woman in the singles class who was to be maid-of-honor at that wedding, and Pam told her this marriage would be adultery.  This woman said she knew it was wrong for them to marry but they would marry anyway so she was going on with her plans to be maid-of-honor.

(2 Timothy 5:22 ... neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.)

At that same time, Pam took a job that was further away from the location of that church.  So she quit going to the singles class, but did continue to attend the main service at that church.

The singles class sat together at the main service.  Pam went to the area where they usually sat and she sat down.  No one from the singles class came to sit there.  Pam looked around and saw the singles sitting in another area of the auditorium.

So the next Sunday, Pam went to the new singles area where she saw the singles sitting the previous Sunday,  but no one from the singles came to that area where Pam sat, but Pam saw them in another part of the auditorium.

The next Sunday, Pam arrived late and went into the auditorium and went the area where the singles were sitting, and Pam sat down in the singles group, and without a word every one of the singles class got up and moved away from where Pam was sitting.

Pam was shocked and cried out to God:  "Have I done something wrong?"

A few weeks later, a woman came to Pam and said she had a message for Pam.  She said God knew the way the singles group was treating Pam and God wanted her to know that what she did was right and what HE wanted her to do.

Church people who sin against God usually do not want to hear what the Bible says about that sin so they avoid the one who speaks Bible, hoping to "kill" the message.

(I believe many pastors today fail to speak certain scriptures because the pastors know people in the congregation will be offended by that message.)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I've never heard any of the following scriptures spoken at a church service.

Mark 10  (Jesus said)

11 ... Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I Corinthians 7:10-11   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:   But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Romans 7:2-3  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Concerning homosexuals and lesbians, I've never heard any preacher speak these scriptures to a congregation of any church group.

Romans 1

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

And I've never heard this spoken to any congregation at any church.

I Corinthians 6

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

And I've never heard these scriptures spoken at any church.

Revelation 3:5  Jesus says: He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before MY Father, and before HIS angels.

Our name can be blotted out of the book of life if we fail to overcome through God.

Hebrews 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Hebrews 6:4-6   For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put HIM to an open shame.

2 Peter 2:21  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.  21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

By withholding scriptures which might offend the congregation, pastors end up approving sins in the congregation and damning many to hell including themselves.

They remove the fear of God from the congregation and present doctrines which excuse sins in the congregation, bringing apostasy into the church and making the church to be like the world, filled with sins against God.

The scribes and Pharisees and haters of God crucified Jesus.

Today the preachers who withhold Bible from their congregations kill Jesus, the Word of God, and condemn many in their congregations to eternal condemnation through their sins against the Word of God.
